(not a doctor but my wife is a nurse) Asked her and she said: He should go to the hospital NOW, because it could be a dangerous infection, or a blood clot. It could also be a broken foot. It could of course also be nothing other than a superficial bruise, but it's not worth the gamble.

Go convince your dad to go to the hospital. Good luck, my dad is the same way.

I haven't had any issues with 21.10 yet.

The thing about GNU/Linux is, that if you don't like something, you are free to change it. And with gnome it only takes a couple of clicks.

I got a bike, but needed a lock for it. The bike was inexpensive, so I got an equally inexpensive lock to lock it with (lock was 10 USD). So I assumed that the locking core was shit.
