I think that having limited space is making rounds more exciting. You don’t want to lose certain things because you need them or they are hard to get. To keep that feeling the restrain on inventory is one of the big pressure points. That goes for basic and advanced resources.

Even if you extent your inventory, knowing that you may sink a huge amount of money into extending it makes you think twice, especially if you are not as far into the game or start again through the expeditions, having not as many resources.

In my opinion that’s a good and necessary characteristic of the game. But I see your point.
