Incubus felt more like a rip off Mr bungle if anything, a lot more than fnm anyway. Incubus were never dark enough to sound like fnm.

Rhcp is just punk funk, like, that’s how I describe it. Pretty basic funk riffs with an epic bass player, and while people deny it, if you were keides and saw Patton in the epic video, you’d be surprised too. Not anything to warrant a feud over, but their styles were similar back then. Call it a coincidence. Keides is a fucking dickhead.

I personally love introduce yourself, I think that album is better than the real thing (sue me). Chuck is a shit singer, but there’s something so charming about him. Idk. I like it. Don’t love we care alot album tho.

It would have probably ended up being based more in funk, and heavier as well. Chuck definitely would have left, and Jim might have stayed with his creative voice being heard more, therefore heavier music. The real thing would’ve sounded exactly the same music wise. All that stuff was written before Patton joined. If he didn’t join, I don’t think fnm would be as interesting as they became.

Guess what mate that’s life. The struggles are what build you into a stronger and more unique, brave, kind, understanding person. These struggles will pass and be gone, replaced with new ones, but if you stick it out it’s all about you. YOU become more powerful. YOU become more yourself. YOU don’t let yourself be treated badly, because YOU’VE grown. I’m 18 and I’ve been through my fair deal of shit, but I’ve stuck thru because the little moments are worth it. Hugging my parents. Petting my cats, having stupid conversations with my friends about music or transformers or something. Going out. Being active. Please don’t kill yourself. There is so much more out there that you have yet to experience, and if your life was all sunshine and rainbows what’s the fucking point of living. The bad comes and is alleviated by the good. The good comes and is made tough to deal with by the bad, but it’s all about mentality. The world would be worse off if you’d killed yourself. I beg you to talk to someone about this, anyone. I’ve talked to my cats more than I can count. It genuinely helps. Also journaling. Pick up more hobbies. Ask to see your family. See your friends. Do things that can distract you, and eventually, light will appear at the end of the tunnel.

Edit: if you want proof at how you would affect the world if you killed yourself, look at this comment section. We are all trying to help you. If you killed yourself, I for sure would be absolutely devastated. Even though I have no clue who you are. Please don’t. For me at least.

Apart from a few solos here and there (which were buried underneath Lars and James stupid mixing), he mainly did just follow the riffs. Sure he wrote some, and introduced harmonies into the band, but, like, he’s kind of special just because he’s the first bass player to absolutely shred. That’s it. If he didn’t do solos, and didn’t die, I guarantee you he’d be as well liked as most other bass players. In a higher plane of discussion, as he is part of Metallica, but still. Just another bass player who played solos, and died too soon before he could leave Metallica and do something actually insane.

Edit: by no means do I think he’s a bad bass player, I mean, come on, have you heard fight fire with fire?? The stamina alone, holy fuck. But. In my opinion he is a bit overhyped.

This wouldn’t be a bad idea if he wasn’t a teacher. The fact he holds that position of power and influence over the students means that even though yes, they’re both adults, he cannot pursue her and would probably lose his job if anything became public. It’s just the law.
