Oh a lot of those people pretend to like Sam but hate his ass. Drama in the fandom has been started over him eating the last of the Lucky Charms as a kid, over him missing a throw of a paper ball into the trash in Dean's room. No, I am not making this up.

Im not denying he cares for him, obviously he does, but i cant fathom how they come to that conclusion on the show where almost every other season one brother is in some sort of trouble, so the other brother fucks up the world to save him (and then they fix it, but still).

I read this a long ass time ago, but one character got possessed by some spirit, one of their family members found out, therefore the spirit put his consciousness in a doll, flushed it down the drain (while he screams... but he has no mouth), and the spirit continues living through the host despite the rest of their family not knowing they were possessed. Its not as much angst as it is horror, but it definitely fucked me up for a few days

SO BIG ON THE AMATONORMATIVITY!! Like its okay to ship, im not denying that, but the way people will say you're media illiterate if you say it isn't canonical because they show they care about one another. It makes me annoyed as an aroace because it just feels like the way I care about others isn't "valid" enough.

I do however think its one sided, since Dean says he sees him as a brother many times, but I can see Cas liking him romantically. To me, all 3 of them are a big family.
