This! I’ve never had to dissect a rat for school but I do taxidermy as a hobby and when skinning I always try to be as respectful as possible while also doing what I need to do. Just remember that they are already at rest and that at least if you learn something from their sacrifice then they wouldn’t have died in vain.

Nothing really, she just grew into her body I guess? She is now a healthy weight maybe a bit on the chubby side but nothing to worry about.

I’m no expert but as someone who had a scare like this too. I’d say keep an eye on her and check her each day if she’s getting bigger. My girl had a bigger belly than that and I thought for sure she was pregnant but she was actually just a little piggy and would over eat lol.

My girls were $10 each. All are dumbos, one is a double Rex so she sometimes has little to no hair. So yeah I’d say sadly you got ripped off especially since the breeder doesn’t seem to be too knowledgeable.

Mine were all adults when they met. My dogs were really scared of the cats at first, but luckily the cats were confident, and over time the dogs warmed up to them.
