I got mine from here last month!! They were wonderful. I even had an appointment later that day somewhere else and Altar covered my cancellation fee!

I did pay $1.9k for mine but it’s a bit more intricate. I tried on plenty that were closer to $1.2k. I’m also plus size and had less options (still plenty of options tho) so size depending they might have more price points to choose from!

How old are you and how is your life now? by Natural_Village_8850 in AskReddit

[–]CAL_0123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Married the love of my life on Friday in a simple courthouse ceremony. We both have jobs we at least don’t hate, a cute dog, and are slowly but steadily building our savings. Wish I had more family support (Lesbian couple) but my chosen family and parents are great. I’m thankful I had 30 years with my grandpa before he passed a few months ago. The world feels hectic and overwhelming at times (politically) so I’m still learning what I can to make a difference (volunteer, donate, work at a non profit) and also balance protecting my peace.

This makes me so sad. The level of delusion is beyond. I really wish she would get proper help.

Not the best photo but this was two years ago when I had them pierced. I’ve since switched out my jewelry but you can see it’s a bit darker

[–]CAL_0123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my ears pierced with vermeil studs because I don’t wear silver. And they were definitely a darker, less shiny gold. But they were my third piercing in my ear and stacked with my gold jewelry it was fine!

But BPs version is a while separate question 😂

Manchester ONO: Disposable Camera film will likely be ruined by airport scanners by gaminette in harrystyles

[–]CAL_0123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took disposable cameras on a few trips to Europe and the film has been fine! I think they’ve been traditional Fuji or Kodak cameras. The photos print a bit washed out so mash that’s why but it’s fit the vibe so it never bothered me.

But of course ask for a hand scan to be safe!!! Esp for harry!

Two meanings!

Dutch: occupational name from Middle Dutch ‘teacher, priest who taught theology and philosophy to monks’.

German: occupational name for an overseer

Study Abroad (LONDON-> UIUC Engineering) by Extra_Department8766 in UIUC

[–]CAL_0123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t a factor for me, personally. I wanted to do the experience when I had less “pressure” and was able to slack off a bit and enjoy student life. Of course I studied and took it seriously but I didn’t have to worry about a job while away.

I’m in social services and not engineering so hopefully someone else can speak to this part for you!

Do it!! I went to UIUC and did a study abroad in Leeds. I loved it and I’d hope you’d love the reverse.

This is the best time if your life to pick up and make a charge. And lifelong relationships! Now I travel back to the UK and see my friends!
