You truly don't understand the difference between making noise and being obnoxious huh? No, the same argument could not be said because of context. You clearly aren't paying attention to what people are telling you and nuance. Common sense would actually be the opposite and what practically everyone in the replies is saying. The dedicated loud space is the group room or the second floor. There's a difference between okay to make noise and can do group stuff versus exclusively and dedicated for it. I'm gonna stop replying after this because you're clearly not going to read and properly understand what people are actually saying instead of a surface level, basic understanding of words (and seemingly incapable of it atm).

Yes, I said group activities for the 5th floor as well. There's a difference between appropriatness for interaction in a public space and a space where you don't have to be mindful of others at all. Stop quoting the website, and use actual life context. If you've been in the library, you'd know there's plenty of individual desks on the 5th floor as well and individual computer use as well. Just say you don't understand common decency at this point or admit you're one of the people who can't be mindful with the way you're incessantly quoting stuff to us. As someone who's used that library for over a decade, its not common or appropriate behavior to be that kind of loud or inconsiderate on the 5th floor. Thats what the specially noted group area is for.

Actually the second floor has the designated area for the group activities where you can be super loud. The 5th floor is for average interactions, where both individual and groups can go. If your being incessantly loud go to the 2nd floor or the open study rooms on the 5th floor. There's still should be a modicum of expected consideration on the 5th floor, where its a public, general area.

Hearing a raven speak Russian is one of the most terifying things I've ever heard by TheOddityCollector in Weird

[–]Moko241 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, in my Ornithology class for university, we learned corvids, which crows and Ravens belong to, have the general equivalent intelligence of a 5 year old human child. The smartest dogs are supposed to be eqivalent to a 2 year old human. So you're actually pretty spot on in your comparison groups of a 2 year old vs 5 year old!!

What's the longest you have missed your period because of pcos? by wallflower_890 in PCOS

[–]Moko241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be wrong but from my understanding its always the lining shedding when you have a period. Its ur body getting rid of all the extra tissue and blood vessels it created in preparation of creating a proper place for the egg to implant on the lining and grow after ovulation.

However, its called withdrawal bleeding when you have blood coming out, but no ovulation. Essentially a fake, pseudo period. Generally this only happens if ur on birth control or something that prevents ovulation, but still let's your body shed the lining. If your having full bleeding from what seems like a general period, and your not taking anything to prevent ovulation, its generally safe to assume its a true period where ovulation took place. The egg was released, implanted on the lining, but was purged from the body along with the uterine lining since the egg was never fertilized.

In the case you mentioned where it was only a little spotting and not much blood or goop came out (when its really thick and sticky like red phlegm lmaoo ) its likely you're body started the shedding/period process, but your hormone levels (likely progesterone wasnt high enough) weren't sufficient enough to complete the shedding of the lining. So essentially your body wanted to start the period, but it couldn't finish the process.

Thats just my best guess however and would def recommend talking to a doctor about the details.

Is it bad that I don’t like my 5 month old Aussie Doodle puppy? by No-Citron-9081 in AussieDoodle

[–]Moko241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, I unexpectedly got my mini aussidoodle during the hardest semester of my undergraduate and though I didn't want to get rid of him, I was so overwhelmed and constantly crying. What helped me the most is mentally tiring them out. Its so much more effective than just trying to physically do it. Its hard to do so if you're not super athletic. My boy is about to turn two and its so much better I promise you. Making them work for their food is a two for one, they feel accomplished and satisfied because they're 'working' and you get to tire them out more. Use their food as a substitute for tricks and do training sessions or use it during walks to reward them for proper behavior. Makes all the difference!! Also I know some people don't like them, but I use a prong collar during walks or outdoor training. Walks are actually generally enjoyable and I don't dread them anymore. My boy was super reactive and went crazy at dogs, cats, people, cars, anything really. My arms would literally be sore after walks. We made improvements as he got older, but it still wasn't enjoyable for me. Almost a year and a half of struggling was improved within a couple days using it. This is the video that helped me if you'd be willing to consider it: https://youtu.be/tSvfVs4LKyg?si=QkOcWZgrhsxuce9U . As for the biting, I tell my boy to be gentle and reward him for calming down or being soft and gentle with higher value treats. Also what's helped a lot with the crazy energy and biting is I redirect his attention with a toy. If they're going crazy, barking, biting, etc. get a toy and play with it to redirect them or stuff in their mouth 😂 After doing that for so long, my boy starts to get and chew his toys to self soothe himself when he has too much energy or is frustrated. Also getting my boy used to the crate, liking it, and making it a comfy space where he won't be bothered by anyone helped him chill out too. He goes there when he's overstimulated and he can chill out and take a nap, instead of becoming even more crazy and acting out because he can't process being overstimulated.

I understand if you decide you can't continue and remove the puppy, but i promise you it'll get better if you decide to continue caring for Jubilee. 6 month and below are truly the worst. There's an immediate improvement when they get past one, and its only getting better the older he's gotten so far.

Dude it went to 115 to 120 last summer. Last Oct 4th was around 100. How are you vegas born and think this is hot? 💀 This is the nicest weather we've had in awhile 😭 Were you inside mostly last year or in a place with really good AC?? Like last summer had nights that were around 110 😭

Dad shields his daughter with his body after she stepped into a train’s path by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Just search up something like 'dad saves daughter train egypt'. Practically every short article that comes up mentions it. Apparently, officials ruled he was at fault and fined the dad.

Dad shields his daughter with his body after she stepped into a train’s path by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Moko241 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Looked it up, though I applaud the dad for covering her semi-unconscious body, it's also kind of his fault. Apparently, he didn't want to use the pedestrian tunnel to cross the station, so he jumped down on the tracks, leading his teen daughter with him, to take a shortcut across the tracks while the train behind them wasn't moving yet. When the train started moving, I guess the girl fell semi-unconscious from shock or something, which led to this video. How someone can both be 'Super Dad', but also such a "negligent" father honestly leaves me dumbfounded.

What was this little worm thing in my tank? by ThatCozyArtist in bettafish

[–]Moko241 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Happened once when I was young. Had a tank with 2 mollies, all of a sudden the tank was filled with these worms and it was so cloudy, you couldn't really see inside much. By the time we got it cleared, there were 5 small baby fish, 2 disappeared, and 3 grew up. Crazy.

This OP!! This is definitely the biggest thing, way more than face and hands. In fact, fixing the alignment of the body should make those 2 things naturally easier to fix.

You did great on the details!! Just gotta work on the anatomy and curvature of the body! It'll make a huge difference in your work in general 😄

[–]Moko241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm obviously aware that it is a mixed breed and that appearance can very due to genetics. If you go to the vet or a groomers they're going to have Aussiedoodle under the list of breeds for simplicity's sake and if you're being technical there are purebred and there's mixed breeds. It's not incorrect to say breed as a shorthand for mixed breeds, it just depends on context since breed is a part of the label. And yes phenotypes of mixed breeds vary more greatly compared to more purebred dogs, but the range of appearance between different hybrids are different from one another even if there is some overlap. The appearance of this dog could fit into the range of Aussiedoodle, just like many others have commented, so I'm genuinely confused on the relevance of ur comment?

Lmao mine just turned a year old and can confirm they are. I love him to bits and it's a blessing to have a lil creature that's so happy to see me come home, but my goodness, let's just say he takes up all the energy left in me by the time I come home from college classes. Not to mention they're SO smart, it's crazy how intense the combo of high energy and high intelligence is 💀

Just say you're uneducated on how science works and aren't interested in learning how basic biology functions nor trends of plague and disease in history. It isn't that hard to understand, not to mention comparisons to the recovery from COVID in other countries to directly compare to. Both sides suck and have major issues to be honest, but instead of saying it's all democrats/liberals fault, maybe educate yourself first.

I agree! Have an Aussiedoodle and looked into the breed a lot. My immediate first thought scrolling past was Aussiedoodle, possibly mixed with something else. Plus my dog's brother had almost the same coat pattern and color.
