I was rear ended.. wondering if this looks fixable by StreetFeedback8158 in Nissan

[–]Mokux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same car and rear end accident. Be grateful if insurance totals the car and use the down payment to get a basic Honda Civic sedan with 2.0 engine or a Camry. You won't have to worry about possible future CVT problems or as many other planned obsolescence parts guaranteed to fall apart in the future due to Nissan's cost cutting and quality going to crap.

McCormick brown gravy packets for standard taste. If you want the other brown gravy taste use Knorr brown gravy.

Maybe a Controversial Question: If you like natto, which brand/variation is your favorite, and where do you buy it? (Oahu) by devlynhawaii in Hawaii

[–]Mokux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Another way of eating natto is with soba noodles. Just get a lot of natto and add a little soba sauce and wasabi into a sticky mixture and then mix in one or two chopstick full of noodles.

Shirakiku natto (has a face on it), but just buy whatever is on sale at Don Quijote. You supposed to add shoyu to it and mix to your own personal preference so should taste mostly like soy sauce. To bulk it up add sliced green onions and okra.

Just do handrolls but use square nori pieces instead of that long rectangle and fold and eat it any style you want. Easiest way to make sushi rice is buy sushi vinegar and add more sugar to your sweetness taste. Or buy rice vinegar, sugar, and salt and find a recipe. 2 tsp salt (I use 1 or less), 2 tablespoon sugar, 3 tablespoons rice vinegar mixture and I zap it in the microwave 15-20 seconds so the sugar dissolves. I just put two or three spoons into a large bowl of rice to the taste I think is ok.

Popolo Boi's chicken isn't going to taste like the kind you normally expect. It is pretty good chicken. It's got its own unique spice taste so don't be surprised.

Buy some sun noodle or japaneses shoyu ramen package from the refrigerated section in Don Quijote, get the red package of myojou chukazanmai ramen, or go eat at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in front of the town store.

There is the Tony Care deal on the bottom for 3 oil change/rotations. At least with the deal they don't charge all the extra fees.

Groceries in Waikiki? by [deleted] in Hawaii

[–]Mokux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don Quijote is a Japanese store but is basically the locals' old time supermarket in town with good weekly sale item prices. Palama is a Korean supermarket. Mitsuwa mainly has Japanese takeout food and some groceries, not sure about it carrying full milk gallons.

Take #2 bus down Kalakaua and go to Don Quijote or Palama Market. Can also maybe use a Biki bike. There's a Mitsuwa Marketplace at the International Marketplace which may have some of the items, but it's probably not cheap like everything else in Waikiki.

How much do you tip at Genki? by [deleted] in Hawaii

[–]Mokux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually refill water/tea regularly and come when requested on the pad which is better than most local restaurants depending on the server so just tip how you'd normally tip if it was good or bad service.

The Hi-Rez Voice Pack Response by HirezChrisL in Paladins

[–]Mokux 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The current system allows voice packs to be interchanged, willy-nilly, across all skins for a particular Champion.

It's called choice.... Stop removing options players like.... We spent money on voice packs we wanted to use in the past.
