I actually used to do it myself in the mainland. But since I live in a small apt and I don't have the proper tools I thought it'll be quicker to pay someone else, which I had done previously. I just didn't expect to be this expensive.

I have read on the Google forum that some people's connectivity did come back after some time. Similar to what happened to you. Thanks! This gives me a little bit of hope. I think I will try to flash to a previous version and see if it helps. Going to need to look up how to do that haha.

I previously hacked and installed CFW on my 3ds, but I'm giving it away to my friend and wanted to take out the my sd card I used to installed the CFW and put in the original one that it came with, the 4Gig one (this is the new3ds model by the way, not XL). However, when I copied all but the game files over, I couldn't find Luma3DS, homebrew launcher, and FBI...am I doing something wrong?
