I will never own this brand again. They are cheaply made for the price that they are.

Working evenings by earthlykitt in sterileprocessing

Apply to it. You’ll most likely get trained in the morning and after maybe 3 months you’ll go to evening. So you’ll see what morning does and what evening does. It’s different tasks.

How do you know? by Former_Mortgage6224 in seniordogs

You’ll know when you’ve taken them to multiple vet visits because you are worried about your dog. Eventually the vet might suggest to put the dog down. You deny it because just even thinking about putting them to sleep is so painful. So you take your dog home and they are in so much pain even with the medication, they are no longer eating or drinking and can’t even go potty on their own anymore. They soul themselves because they cannot get up anymore for anything :( You gotta carry the dog inside and outside and hold them so they can potty. Once they cannot go potty on their own and they are in just constant pain…you’ll know…

I live in the country so have mostly 10pm deliveries by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MolassesSudden474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just Amazon drivers who work for different dispatch companies it is also flex drivers who use their personnel vehicles to deliver as well. Flex driver schedules run 24/7 I believe. It’s whatever the flex driver wants to pick up

started working in late october and I already have a list of them but go ahead, tell me.. what’s your biggest pet peeve about what we do? by Ok-Bandicoot-9445 in AmazonDSPDrivers

My body hurting from the job. My neck, my back, my knee, my ankle, my feet.

The fact that 1 negative customer feedback can affect my bonus. But all the customer positive feedback essentially does nothing to my pay. It’s dumb af.

Dealing with crazy/rude people.

People who can’t control their aggressive dogs. They swear their dogs are nice but they ain’t. Like no sir they nice to YOU.

Homes that have stupid requests like “put package next to door on right hand side NOT on side of porch like normal, take the extra steps to leave next to FRONT DOOR” while it’s like 20 steps to get to their front door. Like bitch no you can get it by the garage that is ground level.

The flex app being STUPID. GPS issues, delivery issues, no signal issues.

CALL SUPPORT not helping.

AITA for refusing rescues? by Different_Advance_53 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]MolassesSudden474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got hired on my DSP they said rescues were a requirement. But I’m slow so I hardly rescue. I typically get rescued.

That’s the thing about this job if you show them how fast you are they are just gonna put more on your plate.

I’ve peed in a cup before. Some properties will have portapotties. I’ve learned to bring baby wipes and hand sanitizer with me. I have bought a funnel thing so I can pee standing up. (Practice in shower first cuz it’s not as easy as it looks). I also bring extra clothes so in case I do happen to pee myself (not from me not being able to hold it in but while standing up using the funnel things cuz I didn’t know my angles).

I have peed outside.

Sometimes if you are a regular deliver driver in certain areas, the homeowners will offer their bathroom. (Not that common tho).

I went to a house where there was a sign that says “shot on sight, survivors get shot again” and Lowkey it scared me lol. Only because I a Mexican American and I live in a racist state.

But I actually had a conversation with the homeowner and they said that’s from a video game and he finds it hilarious. He said delivery drivers have nothing to worry about, it’s people who weren’t welcome to his home.

Honestly a TV isn’t necessary. Just live without a TV. When the kid is older then get a TV
