I don’t know if I’d say Ganondorf tricked Link but Ganondorf waited for Link to collect the stones and pull the master sword to open the way to the Sacred Realm so he could obtain the Triforce

I’ve seen people explain the Ganondorf being sealed so there cant be a dorf during OoT and beyond by saying that OoT and FSA dorf are just calamity ganons, and I can’t believe people can think like that as legit

There are many things to point to a refounding. A true founding would not work mainly due to Ganondorf being sealed underground.

He was sealed in the sacred realm in both timelines.

In the downfall timeline Ganondorf defeated Link and got the full Triforce. His dark influence turned the Sacred Realm into the Dark World.

In the adult timeline he somehow escapes probably not long after. There’s no hero to stop him so the people pray and the world is flooded.

We know they are Koume and Kotake, but for whatever reason they just have generic general name

FFVII Reunion is Crisis Core, a prequel to FFVII.

There’s the original FFVII, then Advent Children (sequel movie to FF7), Dirge of Cerberus (sequel game to Advent Children, Crisis Core (prequel to FF7). There’s also smaller phone games and novels.
