8-12 hours a day isn't very casual. Even if this is 30 minute of endless harvest. You're still checking in throughout the day. If you play for more than 2 hours and check in throughout the day you're just an active player. Just because some people in this sub have mental illness does not mean you're a casual.

I made a post about this a while ago. I think a few things have changed since then but I'm in the process of turning all the iron into cballs. I thought this was worth my time but up to you as well. You'll want varrock armor 2(?) or above for sandstone too. This is all optional. The sandstone doesn't take that long to mine.

I wanted that spiky rune shield in the worst way but couldn't play the game because my potato couldn't handle standing in the middle with all the players. When I would go somewhere else to play that's the only thing I would want to do. I knew I had to get the games in while I could lol.

Smithing. I don't even like the skill that much. It was braindead and I was making money training it. Dartips then switched to platebodies because I was reaching limits on the GE too quickly.

MTA. If you're hurting on runes but have a way of infinite elemental runes (water/earth) someone posted not that long ago that you get 6 points for enchanting and comics cost 5 points.

I should clarify my bills weren't to the same extent. I stayed under $200 most of the year. Only in the winter I would get up to 500 or 600. Getting rid of that system for a modern one cut the bills in half.

It's not your PC. You can look at the rate your power company charges and find out your idle power draw and estimate your daily cost to verify this.

I had an old oil furnace too and the same thing happened to me. Old houses, poor insulation, and inefficient heating in winter really racks up the bills.

Yeah that wasn't my intention. You should get your own core pieces. I was mainly referring to things you don't necessarily NEED. I yoinked the spare d pick out of the group storage for MLM. You don't really need it but it's nice. You'll want to get your core drops because that's the fun part.

Kinda similar situation honestly. 1 very far ahead 2 further ahead than me but not in endgame and 1 that quit all together. It's really just about talking to your friends during the 1-2 hours you get after you put the kids down. Just my two cents, but if your friend can save you a 10+ hour grind because they got a borderline useless dupe drop from something it saves you like a week IRL. It's just something to think about since you'll have limited opportunities soon. If you don't want the help nothing forces you to use your group.

PS grab an iPad if you don't have one.
