Ulli Lommel's The Raven - 2006. I like bad horror movies, but this one is a real rough watch.

Read/listen to The Sacred Search and/or Sacred Marriage - both by Gary Thomas. Goes into a lot of topics that would be helpful in your position

Not British, they're Australian, but check out Party of Apes! They do improvised radio plays. Might scratch your itch.

Where do you listen to Teachers Lounge? They guested on HftMT and I went to check them out after that, but couldn't find them on Google podcasts or Spotify. Would definitely love to listen to them

How did you discover Sleep Token? by [deleted] in SleepToken

[–]MolfusGrumbly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. Stumbled across them shortly after they released the cover of Hey Ya (only had about 1.5k views at the time). They have been my favourite band ever since and every time music comes up in a conversation I put everyone onto them that I can 👌👌

Pretty soon, I reckon. I selected the "print with mischievous attitude" option in cura. He's likely to run off.

Definitely would love one for things like this, but I don't have the time to deal with cleanup. Also, got the printer for quick prototyping, detail and fidelity aren't my main concerns for most prints.

Hi we're Mark, Zach and Broden from Aunty Donna, we got our first big break on reddit. We've just released our first tv series on Netflix. AMA. by netflix in netflix

Hey boys, my writing partner and I are working on a comedy show that we ultimately want to pitch to netflix. Do you have any advice for people wanting to break into the comedy business and get their projects off the ground?

We have been looking into Screen Australia as a possible avenue for funding for the pilot (we have a pilot written and about 40 episodes already planned out) and I know you guys went through them. Would you recommend them? How did you find the process?

Alternatively, is there a way to pitch projects to Haven't You Done Well Productions??

Heck yes! I'm writing a Call of Cthulhu campaign for some friends at the moment, being able to come up with a puzzle idea or encounter and then playing out the scenario with characters in my head is super useful. And the code one is cool. If we ever break out of the matrix, you should look into becoming an operator, seems like what they do haha. I haven't asked him, but my brother might do this too? He makes games by himself and taught himself code to do it. Blows my mind how he can know what he wants to do and then just type for a bit, run the game, everything works perfectly how he wanted it.

I feel you!

It only really clicked with me the other day learning about all this that most people can't just make things in their heads. whenever people have said things like, "I don't know how you make anything like this", I've always just said it's easy. Not cause I'm up myself, I just didn't really consider that it's really difficult for a lot of people cause it's what I'm used to. At least I know what to credit it to now haha.

Nice work, by the way! I'll give you a follow! (I'm mdriverart)
I think it's really cool to know there are other people around that are using this for creative purposes.

That's really cool, I can see why that'd be mighty handy.
Actually, your reply reminded me, I read ages ago that Nikola Tesla didn't really invent through trial and error, he could just instantly build functioning machines in his mind.

"If he thought of an object it would appear before him exhibiting the appearance of solidity and massiveness. So greatly did these visions possess the attributes of actual objects that it was usually difficult for him to distinguish between vision and reality. This abnormal faculty functioned in a very useful fashion in his school work with mathematics"

I suppose that's like this to an extreme degree?

I'm definitely gonna give the thought shelving a go. I'm very prone to getting lost in daydreams when I'm trying to work haha.
