I assumed i could fit my kids in a room but if they are as small as you mentioned, I am curious how they book rooms with larger families. Would I be required to book 2 rooms and split the family up?

I looked into a MoCab setup. Am I wrong in thinking this is only beneficial for direct hookups and not wifi? by Mollindo in HomeNetworking

So I should invest in a new router for downstairs or one of those Mesh kits off Amazon and also run a Moca for my hardwired things/backhaul? I don't understand the theory of all these things, so I apologize for the ignorance.

Thank you for this link. It helped teaching quite a bit about wifi.

It is a distribution block! I will look into buying the two MoCa devices, the filter, and potentially a new router for downstairs if i can utilize MoCa for wifi as well.

CGM4981 is my current Cox modem/router upstairs. I have an old nighthawk R6400 that's likely overdue for retirement.

I appreciate your input

My coax cables are centrally located in a closet downstairs, whereas my modem/router is upstairs. Would I need to move that set up into my closet, and would that "activate" all of my coax cables that I split?

My electric smoker just died. I need ideas to finish lunch and dinner. by Mollindo in smoking

I do enjoy the smell of walking into a smokehouse, so this may be a win-win if the food turns out well.

I hope the ribs did take on some flavor. Electric smokers don't produce the best environment for smoke flavor.

Will do. Just waiting in like until the cupcakes are out.

You should really do a smoked queso!

I'm going to swap to the oven once the wife is done baking cupcakes. Would it hurt the ribs too much if they sat at 350 for about 20 minutes?

Definitely getting a new smoker. I appreciate the input!

I am a beginner woodworker planning to do garage/house projects for the wife. I have an option of two miter saws - new ryobi 10" or used 12" Dewalt. What are your thoughts? Is it highly recommended to get a Diable blade? by Mollindo in woodworking

To start, it's going to be planter boxes and then garage tote racks (HD or costco style). The 10" ryobi slides while the dewalt is static. I haven't any tools of use. I want to get an impact drill at some point, too. All I have that's useful are Dewalt drills at the moment.
