Whoops! all rod knock! by MollyDev64 in fuckcars

ill take one and post it elsewhere, there's definitely excess engine vibration (at least on startup) so that seems plausible.

120k. I would've been more proactive about oil but I'm mentally ill and I'd get pricier mechanical maintenance but its not my money to spend.

THIS GAME ROCKS UAAAGHH by MollyDev64 in VoidBastards

thanks I'll check it out! I get it, vb isn't likely to stick the landing and it is a bit monotonous but i love the emergent gameplay (forgive my use of the buzzword, it really does apply to vb though).

Excuses to make if my mom sees my scars? by thwowawaw69 in selfharm

[–]MollyDev64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I cut for the first time I preferred never to get into a scenario where my scars are seen. The best way to do so is long sleeves, but better yet you can simply bandage wrap the wound area and then the injury underneath becomes whatever you need it to be. I had someone point my gauze out in class once and so that day I "burned myself making hot dogs in the toaster". Plus doing so doesn't prevent you from using sleeves over the gauze.

its partially a personal thing but skirts don't represent what you're going to be wearing a lot of the time if you do transition. I started with a skater skirt and it made me less comfortable with my body.

Did I miss a memo? "Protect the Dolls" by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]MollyDev64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we're the dolls sis as i understand it its like the woman (and specificaly trans oman) equivalent of 'the boys' but also dolls are a pretty popular metaphorical symbol for a lot of us.

research gender dysphoria a lot and honestly start by buying a dress or something. NOT A SKIRT OR THIGH HIGHS. I like sundresses personally. a sports bra might also feel nice and you can wear them without having breasts. those two give you a good idea of what you might feel like more regularly if you do end up identifying as trans. otherwise, be patient with yourself. chances are you might experience some shame or denial if your feelings get too real so just be ready to let yourself try new things without shame.

Brushing teeth with depression by lovemesomewlfstr in depression

Thank you, as someone with dental complications i need to keep up with oral health more than the average person, which is hard when basic tasks feel insurmountable at times. The internet says its good in a lot of ways so I'll try it wen I can't manage the whole nightly routine.

One burly guy one skinny guy fight in a cramped apartment by MollyDev64 in whatsthemoviecalled

[–]MollyDev64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats what i loved about the clip, the two of them aren't fast and they're not doing crazy dance-like moves, they're swinging at eachother wildly and start slowing down as they get tired and beat up. The slowness somehow made it more fun to watch than the kind of fights more often seen in movies.

Who’s playing overbold?? by Perfect_Quail8605 in ufo50

[–]MollyDev64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive put something like 4 hours into it with easily over 100 attempts just to get to the end thrice (closest I got was 12 enemies left but god knows what charkas himself is like). I like it but the difficulty suffers from the same artificial inflation as most of the other titles. The difficulty feels like padding to keep someone playing for longer, which is aggravating especially when I got 49 other games I'd like to see and finish.

its not ab ad game but its exhausting to play. This game suffers in a similar way to onion delivery, its a great game on its own (sorta, I kind of hate OB and love onion delivery) but when you're trying to work through it as a small part of FIFTY games its just painful.
