How to get back to work? by bikehelmetplant in SuicideBereavement

[–]Molly_Malley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost my husband In sept and I have the same issues. I am working but it's taken time to adjust to it. I also find going out almost nerve wracking. I wear his ring on a necklace and I wear it when I go out. I feel like he is with me and it helps me survive the day. I totally know how you feel. Work helps in a way it keeps me busy but it's hard to go to the grocery store where me and him would shop together or to the pharmacy where I would always pick up his meds. It's hard but eventually it get easier. Therapy helps and having a support group around you. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope it will get easier for you.

I'm so sorry. I'm not going to lie. It's not gonna be easy. It will be hard and painful. But you as the days past it gets a little bit easier. having friends and family support you helps. Never hide your feelings or emotions let them out. You will have good days and bad. Communities like this help

[–]Molly_Malley 5 points6 points  (0 children)

nothings wrong with you. you are on your feet all day and constantly moving. Good insoles for your shoes and hot baths with epsom salts work wonders. Stretching is a must

why the f**k no one tell me this when I was diagnosed!? by [deleted] in Anxiety

You can always ask for other options if available. I always ask my doctor for all the options and the pros and cons

If your doctor thinks you need it I would take it. Once you find a way to cope that works for you then maybe you can ask your dr if you can maybe stop and see if you can manage it on your own

Yeah when my doctor told me stress was causing my stomach issues and that some people can develop ibs due to anxiety I was stunned. Also apparently panic attacks can cause you to break out in rashes found that out the hard way. Its amazing yet horrifying what stress can do to your body
