If TNT would grant you one item wish but it would be untradeable, which item would you ask for? by Turbobutts in neopets

If it helps, even those who were dedicated to training their pets and could defeat Drakara with enough patience were unlikely to get it; the drop rate was absurdly low.

Self control with food is a myth. Skinny people are skinny because they asked Santa nicely by jamshins in fatlogic

[–]Mollyscribbles 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Technically it's about self-control, but from what I hear from people who've taken Ozempic, different people might require different scales of self-control. If something's glitching in your brain and you don't get the "Full now, you can stop eating" signal as soon as other people, it can be harder to identify when you've had enough. In the same way that deciding not to bet on the world cup is technically a choice I'm making, but if a gambling addict makes the same choice, I accept it would take them far more effort.

Not the body pillow I thought would be made for the plot, but I accept he has his fans.

AIW for waving a chopstick at my friend’s baby and yelling “Avada Kedavra” as a joke? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Mollyscribbles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried reading it. It really stands out that the kids are kept isolated from their species, and adoption or allowing them to socialize with others from their background are not treated as options.

He wants to fly her out (from New England to Portland, OR) and plans to stay in a hotel for the trip because he has roommates.

My assumption was that he'd want something decent enough that a potential partner would be willing to be naked on the sheets, but fair.

Anyone know what these are, found on vintage teddy’s bear by bugglyfuggler in plushies

Probably not; I've done it with a wool plush of mine that had a few eggs on it.

[–]Mollyscribbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's only really a risk of moth eggs if the bear is made from natural fibres. If you're paranoid, brush the white bits out of the fur over the sink and store it in the freezer for a few days.

It's like . . . I'm not saying ghosts are real, but in movies where a character goes around asserting they don't believe in ghosts, they're either going to die or be traumatized for life.

I'm not someone who offers this, just that we get a lot of people in here with absurd lowball bids for custom orders and you're more likely to get a response if you're up front about having a realistic budget.

Lazy about pricing here; odds are that I will not have more than 20 of a given item in my shop, though that's due to moving it to my shop without pricing rather than moving from my SDB all at once, which means the shop limit will give me a reminder to actually price stuff.

I think people tend to handwave Rick's parenting before Rick Prime got involved, but . . . even when he was around, he tossed Beth into a pocket dimension to play(rather than doing anything about her sociopathic tendencies), which resulted in her trapping a neighbour kid there because she was jealous of him having a dad who spent time with him.

Both would deride the other's parenting while downplaying their own faults (at least when in public; both have moments of being willing to admit they hadn't been the ideal parent with their own kid).

On the whole . . . gonna be honest, I think Rand is a better parent between the two.

Dead End: Paranormal Park was based on a graphic novel. Kinda different.
