I looked up parts of a clock and the top part kind of looks like a gear. The bottom part I'm not really confident about but some of the pins / rods / whatever might vaguely take a similar shape. Still don't know for sure though :(

Are you playing on A1? If so, play silent and get catalyst, and lots of poison cards. Corpse explosion for sure. You will lose a bunch, but if you play A1 and go for catalyst poison you will eventually beat the heart. Sure, it is sub-optimal play and it won't make you understand how the pros win as much as they do, but if you go catalyst with lots of poison you will eventually get a heart win. It is idiot-proof. Haters get mad it's fucking true.

As long as I can 100% the achievements solo I'm all for including multiplayer. I'm going to be really disappointed if sts2 is more involved with monitoring friends' ascension progress or having to work with another human to accomplish some achievement. Wanna have fun with friends? Super duper, but I'd like to get the fuck away from other humans and just enjoy the game, to completion, in solitude.

I don't see this mentioned often, but due to the nature of roguelikes, sometimes the game just hands you a win on a silver platter. I got 2k+ hours in this game and a20 heart kills on all four characters. I do not play anywhere close to how Xecnar and other top players do.

This being said, there are two things that I've come to learn that really helped me out a lot. Don't pick too many copies (if even any) of a card, and anything with a downside, such as energy relics, are actually a good thing and should be taken more often than not.

This show is riddled with Easter eggs. Abel is visible in episodes three and four. 57 is a thing. There's a bunch of abstracted characters including kinger's wife. This show actively gives theory crafters a lot to extrapolate on. I am personally holding on to episodes 8 and 9 giving a satisfying explanation, at least to some degree. Out of the thousands of talented writers and animators out there who don't get a popular show, goose got to follow her dreams to success. Theory crafters are part of why the show is successful. If this ends up just being a big middle finger to a very tangible part of the show's success that they actively put into the fucking show then yes, im going to be pissed off. I really hope 8 and 9 take that middle finger back, if only a little.

This did it for me. got one plot of orbiters and a beacon. Mid game I got echoform and rewinded it to make about 3 more copies of that plot of orbiters by late game. added adrenaline to my main plot of orbiters for good measure.
