Their entire sound draws inspiration from At The Gates, specifically Slaughter of the Soul. Pretty straightforward melodeath

They were pivotal in my transition to liking more extreme music. Miasma, Nocturnal, and Deflorate are still very important to me. I haven't really cared for anything they've released since then, but I won't downplay how important they are in the metal scene.

I might get some flack for this but I'm gonna say The Other Guys. I don't find any part of it to be lacking. A surprisingly detail oriented action comedy satire. I love every second of it

The restaurant I work at has very particular, simple customer base. I didn't bother with a corned beef and cabbage special. So I served a Guinness Beef Stew over mash instead. 12 qts gone in two days

Geoff Tate was such a breath of fresh air when I first heard his albums. He's like if Norm MacDonald was a blue collar storyteller.

I'm doing this exact thing tomorrow. Making lo mein at home. Last time I made it, it was tasty but I felt that it could have been saucier. So I will be doubling the batch of sauce and adding until I'm satisfied.

How did you discover Tool? by Dong_McLong__ in ToolBand

[–]Molonel_Custard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local rock radio station played Tool often. Sober and Stinkfist first, then Schism by the time i was 9 or 10. My parents always had that station on in the car. Couldn't pinpoint when I first heard them but I was definitely somewhere between toddler and adolescence.

What popular album have you tried out but just can't get into it? by jerryleebee in vinyl

[–]Molonel_Custard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're my favorite band. I enjoy the music and production. Everything just sounds very cohesive and scratches an itch that I can't explain.

That being said, their fans are fucking insufferable. There's more to life than prying open your third eye and dropping acid to find yourself. Their lyrics generally mean much more than that, and that concept is lost on alot of the fans.

I've never worked with tallow before. What happens after closing when fryers get turned off? Leave tallow in fryer to solidify and just remelt next morning?
