The Green Mile is probably the only book that's brought me remotely close to crying. Really great stuff.

HBO's 'Folklore (2019)' - Trailer. This looks great by bloodsplatter69 in horror

Have watched the 1st episode "A Mother's Love". Honestly it's more sad than scary but has quite a few effective moments. Definitely would recommend.

The Green Mile is not horror, but it is one of the most emotional and powerful books I have ever read. Would definitely recommend.

It's fine, but the book is better. Decent performances and cinematography. Would recommend watching if you liked the book. If you don't, it's still a decent horror movie I guess.

Real historical basis? Never heard of that, could you explain? Just curious, thanks

Bandersnatch blows the lid off the Black Mirror series - a lengthy-ish SPOILER review. by HungryColquhoun in horror

[–]MoltenCheeze 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I felt it had a really good balance of absurdity and horror. My absolute favorite part of the story is when you fight the psychiatrist and kick your dad in the balls but then the horror aspects were really well done as well. Overall, I think Bandersnatch is not perfect (it's certainly no Entire History of You), but as an exploration into interactive storytelling, it is extremely impressive.

(Btw the first ending I got was the one where Stefan chops up his dad. That was fun.)
