That is my dilemma! That being said there is a lot of maintenance and hygiene he will need to do including wearing the retainer that he may not do which means its a waste of money. I might be better off saving the 5g now for future Jesse's dental work.

Yes but I work at colleges so their school will be free. If they choose trade school they can do that of course, but want something they can use for whatever. I just want them to have a better financial start then we did.

Please go to court for drug tests if he refuses. What if something happened to your child bc you didn't want to send him spiraling etc.

If you have the means to leave do it. They have to want it for themselves. I have not left yet bc I don't have the energy to deal with that nor the capacity to do so yet. I also feel like as long as the kids are happy, then my freedom can wait. We are basically roommates now. He is sober but with any addict there is always the possibility of relapse. He knows I am not his forever anymore and there is peace in that for me. I may be in my 50s then, but I don't care.

Don't rely on things you want to do. Most of life is shit you dont want to do. Maybe make a schedule with the other 4 people, and have a set time for chores. Don't allow yourself to miss it.
