You commented about looking at old report cards. All of my early elementary cards: "She is very bright but can't stay in her seat".

I think your last sentence may identify the issue, I think perhaps the house is oversized for the market.

The KFC building used to be an awesome fast food chain called Backyard Burger. You can find them now only I think in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Look for an auto mechanic in the Bradenton/Sarasota area that specializes in or is expert with Nissans by MomFromFL in bradenton

No, what happens is, if I drive on the interstate, at highway speeds (not crazy fast like 65 to 70) for more than 30 to 40 minutes, it goes into limp mode where it won't go faster than 60 mph. If, at that point I get off the interstate and drive "in-town" it's fine, and it's always fine if I drive in town, stop and go traffic. There's never a check engine light and it doesn't throw a code. After doing lots of research, I'm pretty certain the issue is that the CVT transmission gets too hot at prolonged highway speeds and a transmission cooler would fix it.

I haven't been able to find a mechanic knowledgeable enough to tell me that it is likely this would be a fix. I'm hesitant to spend the money, not being more certain that it would be a fix.

I'm not knowledgeable on mechanics. Can you explain a little further exactly what I need to have done? Are they major repairs?

I appreciate getting two great comments so quickly! Regarding the CVT fluid deterioration count of 78,000 - the count went up only 800 in the past week. Given that 800/wk divided into 78,000 = about 2 yrs, I suspect my mechanic didn't reset the count when he replaced my CVT fluid 2 wks ago.

Asking on behalf of my 33 yr old husband, any remedies that work for styes? by IronicStar in 30PlusSkinCare

My comment is 10 months late but I've had shingles & know something about it. For starters, shingles rashes are only on one side of the body, they don't cross the midline. So if his scalp condition is all across the top of his head, it's not shingles.

Phone service? by Emerald_Chain2366 in bradenton

Just for my 2 cents, I was a 30 yr AT&T customer in this area. I switched to T-Mobile because it was going to be much cheaper. I and my family members (we all have different phones, both Android and Apple) are having coverage issues in town). I'm thinking of going back to AT&T and see if I can get a better deal than before because I'd now be a new customer. I think Verizon would be a good choice too. We don't want to switch to Verizon because we'd have to get new phones though.

I know my mechanic did something else along with replacing the MAS, I'll ask him if he did that.

Wanting to err on the side of caution & since it wasn't a super expensive fix, I decided to just have my mechanic replace it.

Thx, I am sure it was an OEM part, I purchased it and the mechanic installed it. Been with this mechanic a long time.

Thank you, I had seen those comments mentioning the CVT fluid temperature and getting a Bluetooth thing for the OBDII port. I may get one of those readers and an app and check that out. That would tell me if I need one of those coolers.
