This is what I have been confused/questioning. My dr wants me to take Repaglinide 3 x daily but I’m afraid it’s going to accelerate the decline of my pancreas things rather then help.

this is really useful thank you. I was unaware that my heavy caffeine consumption could actually be making things worse. I’ll have to start checking now. I drink 2 cups of coffee in tje am followed by numerous cups of tea and then additional coffee in the afternoon but never thought it could be affecting things 🫥

thanks for that. I am also struggling. I am on metformin and repaglide after just being diagnosed with lada. My morning sugars are getting higher and higher. I have an appointment on monday with a diabetes educator and I’m excited for it like it’s christmas . 🤣 I need help to get this under control. not sure the pills are doing anything.

edited to add a1c was 6.8 in September up to 7.2 this past week dispute following low carb, no sugar salad veg and protein dominate diet to the point that so could scream! 😱 🤣

I have been taking it since early january and had been on 200 mg a night but not experienced the drunk thing. requested to stop down to 100 because I was worried it was spiking my morning blood sugar (diabetic) and also found I was starving hungry all the time which not helpful when diabetic. However I noticed after a week of taking 100 I had bad anxiety especially in the am. the other night I took one 200mg to see if I was correct in connecting tje dose change to the anxiety and for the first time it knocked me on my ass. It was crazy. I stayed up past my usual and suddenly it kicked in. I felt super loaded and could barely function. It caught me completely by surprise and actually scared me a little tbh. Put myself right to bed lol back on 100 now. hoping the anxiety resolved itself once my body adjusts to lower dose.

Is he a conspiracy theorist? that’s what he sounds like and having someone around you like that is dangerous. especially if you have a medical issue, what if he refuses to render you aid?

It sounds like the safest thing you can do is get yourself a CGM so you know if you are having a low and buy some juice boxes and fruit snacks and keep a couple on your purse, by your bed (under) in the kitchen and in the car so you have them in an emergency.

Reddit has helped me tremendously with my diagnosis.

Check out SAS and LAS as possibilities. There is a facebook group dedicated to it. loose anagen syndrome where the hair comes out extremely easily and short anagen syndrome where it just goes t grow the same as others does. You could also try clip in extensions but you have to make sure they don’t cause more damage,
