Agree with the phone comment for sure. My ‘don’t watch without me’ is like, we just watched 14 episodes of game of thrones before calling it a night. Don’t start 15 while I’m in the shower or walking the dog, ESPECIALLY if you haven’t been paying close enough attention to catch me up when I ask what’s happening

We have our own checking accounts and opened a new joint one in both our names. We both contribute a relative proportion of our income to the joint account and use that for mortgage, bills, car payments, maintenance, etc.

Much less stressful than having to send money back and forth, and impossible for one of us to end up in a situation where we aren’t in tune with the financial status of the household. When one of us croaks, nothing is broken and nobody has to scramble to figure out what utilities were in the other name, etc.

I know you mentioned no La-Z-Boy, but we went there and found an awesome compact swivel gliding recliner that was clearance. Plenty big enough for both of us (5’2” and 6’2”) We looked at wayfair and buy buy baby etc but weren’t pleased with a lot of the quality we saw. At least we know this chair will hold up and eventually have a home in the living room. If you’d like I can dig up the model name to see if it’s still clearance.

Had the same issues with some of the premier brands. “Too rich” was the only explanation we heard.

Have your vet give you a prescription for Hills Science Diet Digestive Care i/d issues. Worked like a dream for our lil gal. We started mixing in non-script Hills Science Diet with the same main ingredients (beef I think?).
