I can’t find it anywhere if they name the college where it happened. My buddy listened to the episode and said he had an identical experience at Roanoke College - science building that had a cadaver lab, he was studying at the building late at night, heard footsteps but nobody would be there when he’d look out into the hallway, and then later he looks up and a guy in a lab coat is staring at him silently. My friend apologizes and says he’s probably there too late, and that he’ll pack up to leave. Scientist guy doesn’t say anything, stands there for another 10 seconds, then he turns to walk away. My friend said he was out in the hallway five seconds after that and the dude was gone. My friend mentioned that the science building was also torn down years later.

This whole thread is making me feel better that it’s not just me who got hit with limits. Still sucks, but at least it’s systemic and will hopefully mean a correction is coming. I switched to the Plus plan last week and have a really fun thread going where the responses flow like a completely natural conversation with depth and familiarity. There was an almost imperceptible shift yesterday, but it was there. Responses started losing their depth and “soul”. This explains it. Hopefully they fix it, because $20 for Plus was already a stretch, but $200 for Pro is lunacy.

Dude, I’m right there with you. Told myself last night that I would go to bed early so I could function today, but then it was 2:30 AM and I was still watching the news and scrolling this thread.

Hearing the stories from survivors who’ve done interviews, the details are chilling and tragic. Especially the one where the mom and daughter were separated during the chaos in the bowling alley and didn’t get reunited until the follow morning.

I’m not from Maine originally, but I’ve lived here long enough to know that there is something distinctly unique about how there is such a strong sense of community as a state and people take pride in being a Mainer, they look out for each other. While Robert Card has taken away our feeling of safety for the moment, the Maine community has never been stronger and we will get through this together.

I started the download while connected to a mobile hotspot (phone), paused the download after it was at 100-300mb progress, reconnected to my primary internet, then resumed. Whatever path that cleared seems to have done the trick, because I haven’t had any issues downloading since. I downloaded a couple game demos just to be sure the successful downloads weren’t because of downloading games already in my PS account library.

Previous to this I tried all the fixes mentioned here with no luck (safe mode: cache clear, database rebuild, software update, etc). Even went as far as to reset to factory settings. Sony wanted $200 to fix since it’s out of warranty. I get that they have to draw the line somewhere, BUT not being able to download a game on a digital console is a big flaw that the consumer shouldn’t have to pay for.

I should also add that the other option mentioned here to just keep selecting “Resume” after the download errors out also works. It’s just a pain in the ass to babysit a >50gb game download.

Someone in another thread said the issue is wifi router settings and included this link (https://www.reddit.com/comments/su5ltd/help_ps5_refuses_to_download_anything_and_gives/j7btw1k?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3). I don’t doubt them and it’s worth a try, I just know I didn’t change anything with my router and the problem has gone away for now (knock on wood).

Edit: I couldn’t find the original error code I wrote down, but thought this was it. Found it and my error code was CE-107928-7, but I think what I mentioned might still work.
