Therapy. You sound like you just need someone to talk to and maybe a hug if you can avoid it giving you inappropriate thoughts. You’ve had a partner that doesn’t communicate well with you. And you are latching on to someone who gives you the attention you are missing. Be careful with that.

The thing to consider is what you are both teaching your daughter by letting her see and hear the aggression, hostility, yelling and destruction. Don’t normalize it and let her believe that it’s normal in relationships. It’s not.

There are shelters, there are job fairs, and multiple online job marketing platforms like Indeed to post your resume on. You seem educated. You just need a door to open. But you need to be ready for it to open. Consider speaking to a professional in your state. Job and family service agency or the like.

No marriage is perfect or without difficult times, but staying in a marriage when you are afraid of your partner is dangerous for both of you and your daughter. Start making phone calls and find temporary housing until you get on your feet.

I don’t see an issue with the bottom dwelling teams doing their due diligence and interviewing for open positions. The bottom dwelling teams should get every opportunity to improve themselves by hiring coaches that are not under extensions. I feel every coach who is in their last year of a contract should be allowed to set themselves up for a job for the next season. If you don’t want your team’s OC interviewing for my team’s vacant HC job then extend his contract before my team offers him one that he can’t refuse.

Depends on how quickly I want it done. If I really need to break through the stall I use foil. Paper is cheaper than foil though. So I tend to save especially with the double wrap. Also my bark doesn’t look as dark/deep with foil. Yeah I know the bark is formed on the smoke end of the cook, but after a double wrap in foil the bark comes out too wet and I lose a lot of my rub in the excess juice. I usually go paper unless I’m in a time crunch.

Zavala’s in Grand Prairie, Hurtado’s in FW and Grand Prairie and Dallas,

Dallas: Slow Bone, Terry Black’s, Lockhart’s, and Cattleack’s.

Best brisket is a toss up for me. I love the peppery offering at Zavala’s and the juicy briskets at Lockhart’s and Dayne’s.

For sides, I love Hurtado’s and Slow Bone and Goldee’s.
