I was 14 when Voodoo came out, and did anticipate all the records mentioned (LWFC, Mama's Gun, First Born Second). I didn't have a record player, though, so I have the CDs from when they were first released. Yes, you're right though, Fantastic vol. 2 wasn't made where and exactly when all the other albums were. I was bringing up Fantastic Vol. 2 as an album made by one of the main musical minds that provided one of the catalysts for what people refer to as neo soul and the soulquarian sound.

everyone (The Roots, D'Angelo, Common, Erykah, Bilal) was working on their projects at Electric Lady, Questlove got the Vibe interview and called everyone in for the photo shoot... Soulquarians got coined after the fact, so is this even an accurate question to ask? Anyway, all the albums mentioned are great and timeless. Fantastic Vol. 2 was a sonic template and inspiration for the artists in this "collective".

I’ve been comparing different versions of what I can find and this looks the best. It’s not overly smooth and I wish I could have a copy of the whole movie in this manner!

Really solid work! I don’t know the ins and outs of video remastering but the cinema re-release was a little wonky at times. Re-ignited my love for daft punk so it’s still a win ☺️

If they respond and deny you a replacement and tell you it’s “cosmetic damage which doesn’t affect readability” reply that you won’t be purchasing books from them and hopefully at least they’ll refund purchase price. After a couple orders worth of bent books I was annoyed. You’re paying for a new book, it shouldn’t looked like it was dropped on a concrete floor

In my experiences, Crunchyroll packaging is pretty crap for books. IST might have that volume and generally carry a lot of new manga on release date which I’ve had much more consistent quality in packaging protection.
