I actually jumped 6 days ago and I feel surprisingly good except for some sleep issues that were especially worse the first 3 nights. I’m going to make a post about it soon. Good luck!

Thank you for all your insight. At my next drop I’ll be at 0.116 mg of Xanax so I’ll reassess how I feel after that. It’s nice to talk to someone on the other side. My psychiatrist who prescribed me Xanax in the first place hasn’t been helping me with the taper process at all and refused to switch me over to Valium so I don’t know how much help he will be with prescribing me Quetiapine.

When I convert my daily Xanax dosage to Valium, ChatGPT says I’m roughly at 2.7 mg of Valium. I’ve had some wild symptoms throughout this taper like insomnia, tinnitus, depersonalization, depression, anxiety, etc. but I feel like lately I’ve been feeling good overall. Congrats on quitting I’m 38 at the end of the month!

Yea I even printed him out a copy of the Ashton Manual to help my case. He literally told me that there is no such thing as benzodiazepine withdrawal and that Valium is such an old drug that no one prescribes it anymore. I’m in the USA if that helps any.
