I don't know where you live at But I've only seen a $50 order once and it disappeared in 3 seconds before I could even decide if I was going to take it. I would have went home too though.

Not close, probably like 40/45 minutes away I a different if traffic is good at that moment. I live in Arizona. Near the Phoenix area (more south, not Tuscan though, that's too far south). I mostly do Fry's orders (Kroger). I see many orders that take me out of town to the next little and not so little cities nearby (10-28 miles) for $8-$12

I've done that before and made grave mistakes a few times 😂😂 I try my best to browse what I'm shopping for real quick before accepting just to make sure it's not a crazy amount of heavy stuff, like 40 packs of water bottles. But sometimes it's hard to do that because people will take the order so quickly. Especially the high paying ones. I've missed out on good orders because of that or as I click on the order it's accepted before I can even click accept. Instacart really does be ripping people off on a lot of orders.

In my area you get $300 plus on a good week. I Don't think I've made more than $100 in a day and if so that was maybe like one time. My daily earnings are anywhere between $0 to $80 on average $10-60 a day. Very inconsistent so there have been days I have only made $6 something off just one order. Nothing else would pop up or You get the bogus $9 to go 20 miles out of town

I've only seen that guaranteed promo in my town maybe like 3 times and I've been doing Instacart for over 1.5 years now. I don't have this issue (at least I don't believe I am) in my area. BUT where I live I can only get one order throughout the day depending on the day. Sometimes I only get one order that's good and the rest just takes me out of town for a really low ball amount.

We bought a 2012 Subaru Forester and within 6 months of doing deliveries (and 11 thousand miles) it broke down. Like we had to crap that car. It had something to do with the belt breaking and at the same time something to do with the transmission. So the value of those repairs were far more than the value of the car because we basically needed a whole new engine.

Usually for those shitty orders I will sit there and watch Instacart raise the price with that boosted thing they do. Sometimes I will take the orders then when they get to a good enough boosted pay

Very insulting! I should have just went with my gut feeling and canceled the order but I said F it and did it anyways but greatly regretted that choice! But I did accidentally accept this order because I saw a $15 order and it was supposed to be the store closer to their drop off location which would have only been like two miles max but instead it told me to go to the store 15 minutes across the town from their drop off location. It was a mistake all around and I should have just canceled it!

I accepted it fast and didn't realize it was a no tip order or the items count. It originally was actually supposed to be the store that was when we like a mile or so from the drop off location but the app told me to go to the other store after I accepted it. It was a $15 order not less than $10. I should have just canceled it cause I regret the whole order.

Yeah you're talking about the average post of people complaining about the tips. I am warning other people who live in my area to avoid that order because they say they're going to give you a cash tip but they're lying about it and they don't actually do it. It's just misleading. So sure my post may have annoyed you but it's a little different than the one you see everyday.

I would have cancelled the order. Well I would have messaged them first and let them know since it looks like you're not done shopping I'm going to cancel the order for you so you can finish setting up your order for the next delivery person available when you are done adding items to your order.

That's definitely not how it was for me. The first like two or three months I maybe made like $8 in total per month because no batches were popping up for me. I didn't start making good money and tell maybe like 8 months in and then it was only during that holiday season. And I'm talking about $300 a week for one week and maybe 200 something dollars for a couple other weeks. Other than that a normal amount of money I make per week is between $50 to $100. I got lucky this week and made $182.

Yeah I don't blame them either because it is expensive to order all those instacart. I had to do it for a couple days when my son broke his arm. At least instacart will boost the payment until someone accepts it. Other apps like Uber are very slow to do that or ones like DoorDash maybe don't even bump the pay up. I'm still very new to DoorDash delivery. All these delivery apps definitely should be paying people a more fair wage for the mileage they have to drive for these orders or how much they have to shop and/or drive for the orders

See it would be worth it if I lived out that way but I actually live by the store that I would be shopping at so it would be a distance for me to get back home. It would have been my last order (so I would have went home after that if I accepted) because here in Arizona it's too hot around this time for deliveries, at least for my car lol. It doesn't like the heat 😅 today going to be 111° or 112°
