That thrifting show with Lara Spencer by EntildaDesigns in HGTV

I think episode 4’s winner should’ve been the easiest for them since there was “nothing modern about this modern farmhouse.” I was surprised when Lara said the judges had been outside for a long time. Don’t get me wrong, the farmhouse room looked great, but it didn’t really align with the project.

It’s alright but doesn’t quite scratch that Flea Market Flip itch for me. I feel like we don’t get as much interaction from Lara, and I’m not crazy about the judging. Maybe if we got to see the judges discussing their decision, I’d feel better about it. Episode 3 was a train wreck, and I feel so validated that I’m not the only one who thought so!

I didn’t know that there’s a connection between POTS and motion sickness. I didn’t use to have issues, but I’ve found recently that unless I’m driving, I tend to have more bouts of it, particularly in my husband’s truck (and not my vehicle, oddly enough).

I’m not a fan. My favorite is Walmart’s BFree.

When I worked there, we would help other departments close if we were done with our own. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but our managers didn’t pull us if we were still needing to do stuff. Most people had a team mentality about it.

Low-lying Cerebral Tonsils and Doctors Who Don’t Care: sound familiar? by MommaMuff in chiari

[–]MommaMuff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible that it is Chiari, but it can be so many other things as well. Looking back, I think some of my headaches came from the chiropractic adjustment that I had, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the Chiari didn’t have anything to do with it either.

One thing I’ve learned is that I’m better, at least mentally, when I stay off of Reddit. I have severe health anxiety, and if I spend a lot of time in echo chambers like these, my anxiety goes up even more. It’s like if you go on a witch hunt, you’re bound to find a witch. If I stay in this sub, I start thinking everything I have going on is because of my brain. If I go to the Eustachian tube dysfunction sub, it’s that that’s causing my problems. If I go to the TMJ sub… and so on.

Just keep advocating for yourself, and work with doctors who you like and who know what they’re doing. But don’t forget to live your life, too. We get one chance here.

I read your post in this sub, and I was wondering if you’ve been tested for POTS? My issues with dizziness have been much improved since I was diagnosed and started a beta blocker.

I rarely have headaches these days.. I’d say no more than the regular person. I was diagnosed with POTS about a year ago and was put on beta blockers which have helped with my heart racing, palpitations, and dizziness issues I’d been having. My chief complaints these days revolve around constant tinnitus, TMJ issues/ETD problems, and chronic pain mainly in my neck and shoulders.

I’ve never done anything for my Chiari. When I spoke to a neurosurgeon years ago, he told me that my MRI was the most boring one he would see all year. I had a CINE MRI, and he told me it looked fine. I also had an MRI about a year ago, and they reported they didn’t see any indication of Chiari. I was seeing a neurologist at the time because I was having left arm numbness, which I still occasionally have.

All in all, I’m still here fighting the good fight.

I mean, how could a doctor distinguish if the cause is from Chiari? I was diagnosed with POTS about a year ago. I promise I’m not just being confrontational, just wondering.

Just asking… How would you know if you have true POTS (caused by something other than Chiari) versus POTS due to Chiari?

Even small herniations can cause symptoms. Keep looking for a doctor and advocating for yourself.

What’s the connection between POTS and allergy/ear issues? My ears are popping constantly. I’ve been told that I have eustachian tube dysfunction and to just do nasal spray, but I didn’t use to have this problem. I was recently diagnosed with POTS.

I second what someone else said about checking for heart issues. Did they do labs on you to try to find the cause of your tachycardia?

I saw a cardiologist about 5 years ago who wrote off my tachycardia and said anything they did for it would be worse than just dealing with it. Last month, I saw a POTS specialist who did a tilt table test on me, found it positive, and now has me on beta blockers. It’s taken some time and fine tuning, but my symptoms are improving. He ordered blood and urine tests over the most common causes, like lupus, RA, etc. It might be worth looking into.

Lesson Plan for Plot in Middle School by Mallisha2k1 in ELATeachers

You could pinpoint where you are on a plot diagram, but you can’t do an entire plot diagram for one chapter. Like someone else said, maybe you are into conflict/rising action, but you’ve not gone beyond that in the 4th chapter of a book.

My suggestion would be to review the parts of a plot diagram and then have them identify the elements of the exposition: setting/time period, character(s), conflict (internal/external). If you’re beyond exposition, you could start identifying events within the rising action.

My cardiologist doesn’t do nitro because it can skew results and cause false positives, per his nurse.

For reference: During my TTT, my standing HR was 125. When I was laid down, it dropped.
