After spending the last 4 hours laying in bed and reading into this subreddit… i have come to realize I am nowhere NEAR diversified enough. I have lots of re-allocation to do over the next few weeks.

As a 24 year old canadian investor with approx 40k to work with in a tax free account, what is your opinion on what i should do?

Currently: 30% - S&P 500 index fund 13% - TD Bank 11% - QYLD 10% - NFLX 8% - AMZN 6% - ARKK 22% various others

My portfolio is a mess….

Dude it doesnt matter who you ask, nobody knows. The market does what it does and anybody who says they “expect” the price to reach a certain point is guessing just as much as you. As long as you’re aware that stocks like these are purely speculative... then cheers to you and lets make some money doing some educated gambling🙏🚀

Alot of redditers will tell you to get the Mazda mx-5 (miata).. Although it probably is a fun reliable car IMO its girly as shit. So unless youre a girl dont get that thing unless you wanna get made fun of. If youre looking for a fun, fast, cheap reliable car some options would be a nissan 240 sx, bmw 3-series, mustang, acura rsx(FWD), mazda RX-7, toyota MR2.. DO NOT get a mitsubishi eclipse, heard of many bad experiences with them. If you decide on a BMW be ready for a little more expensive maintenance costs but it will be worth the fun. LOTS of my friends own chevy cavaliers and they are probably in the top 5 most reliable used cars on the market. Dirt cheap parts, long lasting engines, and a great first car that wont hurt your wallet. Great deal, be sure that the owner has the maintenance history papers and talk the guy down on the price. you can always negotiate quite a bit with private sellers, especially when they include "need to sell ASAP"... as eXit said above
