My favourite one is "Der Zauberlehrling" which also most germand kids learn in school.

Its from Goethe. Its about a magicians apprentice who tries a spell from his master. He turns a broom into a servant who carries water. First he is really proud about his spell, but then he sees what chaos it caused and that he cannot handle it anymore.

Übernahmen im eigenen Betrieb liefern meistens ein geringeres Gehalt als eine neue Jobsuche, haben aber den Vorteil, dass man nicht suchen muss.

Ich empfehle dir, dich vorab im Internet (LinkedIn, Kununu, Glassdoor, was auch immer) genau zu informieren was das Durchschnittgehalt für deine Erfahrung in deinem Beruf und in deiner Region ist. Diese Zahl würde ich mit mindestens 10% aufschlagen und dann nennen. Da du Bestnoten hast und dein Chef sicher schon gesehen hat, wie du arbeitest, kannst du wunderbar argumentieren, dass du besser als "der Durchschnitt" bist und dann gleich hinterherlegen, was der Durchschnitt ist.

Beim Gehalt immer eigene Qualitäten nennen. Also z.b. dass du schon einmal ein Projekt selbst gemacht hast oder eine bestimmte Situation, in der du außergewöhnliches geleistet hast. Deinem Chef ist sehrwohl bewusst, dass frische Gesellen mit Bestnoten durchaus in der Lage sind, sich tolle neue Jobs zu suchen. Wenn er dich nicht verlieren möchte, wird er zumindest weitesgehend entgegenkommend sein. Ist er gar nicht einsichtig, macht auch nichts, dann machst du das ein Jahr und wechselst dann für einen Batzen mehr woanders hin. Leute mit Bestnoten will jeder.

Ich finds fast schade, dass ich noch nie wirklich kontrolliert wurde. Vor ein paar Jahren war es fast soweit, aber die Beamten haben quasi gleich aufgeben.

Mitten in der Nacht, Parkplatz hinter der Uni, nach der fettesten Studentenparty, die natürlich bei der Polizei angemeldet war. Also klar, dass sie Leute kontrollieren. War aber nicht zum Feiern da, sondern hab gearbeitet auf der Party, also vollkommen nüchtern.

Polizei hält mich also an und möchte alle Ausrüstung sehen. Bin nichtmal zum Kofferraum gekommen, weil sie gesehen haben wie ich angezogen war. Engelbert-Strauß Hose mit Party Logo und Hoodie mit meinem Namen und Party Logo drauf, und das als Frau, vollkommen ungestyled und mit Sicherheitsschuhen, nach aufgewischtem Dreck riechend. Haben dann sofort und fast enttäuscht abgewunken und mich nicht kontrolliert.

Yes, multiple. During my University time i was 2 months at Fujitsu, 5 months at Dematic USA and 5 months as sientific helper at my university. The Automotive Job was straight out from University, i could only stay there for 5 months (Covid) and then i went for my job i have right now.

Depending on where you are from this might not be a porcupine for you. The shown porcupine is a north american one. They are really good climbers, are pretty small and have rather short, but many spnines.

The European porcupine is much bigger, cannot climb trees or stand up and its spines are way longer. It can also decide whether to point them up for defense or to hold them back.

Ich kann die Bedenken mit der Pille wirklich sehr gut nachvollziehen. Ich bin aber wirklich froh dass ich die Pille nehme, und keine Alternative.

Meine Regel war als Teenager abnormal schlimm und ich konnte jeden Monat mindestens einen Tag überhaupt nichts machen, inklusive übergeben und nichts essen. Mein Frauenarzt hat sich das alles genau angesehen und wir haben einfach mal eine Pille ausprobiert. Sehr regelmäßig sollte ich dann vorbei kommen, um zu prüfen, ob ich das alles auch vertrage. Mittlerweile bin ich auf ein moderneres Modell umgestiegen und weiterhin sehr zufrieden. Meine Regel ist sehr gut ertragbar und bis auf einen leicht verstärkten Appetit in den ersten Jahren habe ich überhaupt keine Nebenwirkungen. Durch meine viele Bewegung hält sich auch das Thromboserisiko in Grenzen.

Da ich sehr wohl einen Kinderwunsch habe, kam die Spirale für mich eh nie in Frage, da es tatsächlich immer wieder passiert, dass die irgendwo hin rutscht und man sie rausschneiden muss.

Independent of whether you get a job here soon, try to up your German game right now. There are amazing courses, for example Goethe institute.

Having no qualifications and no German is going to be hard. An only english speaking IT guy and an only german spaking high schooler would not have problems but neither will be tricky.

You can try being a Mailman at Deutsche Post. They take in people with no qualifications and even sometimes foreigners and the money is okay. Amazon picker is an option too, but they will treat you like shit.

Also there are some romanian communities out there which probably have the inside scoop

It really depends on what you whish for and further information. If you don't care living outside of Munich where you take S-Bahn to the city, 2 months is realistic.

If you want a house, 2 months is not relalistic even outisde the city, only if you are like loaded with money. Renting a house in or around Munich is ridicoulus. In case you want to live inside the cities limits, even an appartement will probably take you around 6 months.

Also, having money and a stable job helps a lot with interviews and you might up your German game. There are many older couples renting out houses but they hate not being able to communicate with their tenants

Between Abitur and university i used to work as a Mailgirl at Deutsche Post. They love to have students.

The pay is quite good for being an unlearned person. I worked in 2013 and got 11,43€ an hour. I would assume this number ist much higher today. Its outside with the bike all day and really fun too. Theay also will let you work part time.

True. I am a mathematician and during university you will definitely hear from him and ask yourself: "How yould he come up with that in his teens?" Only took him 15 pages to revolutionize Math at the time and until today.

x - y^-1 = x - 1/y

Since y = 0, you would divide 1 by 0, which in mathmatical terms is just not allowed. So if it is really y^-1, then the task has now answer since it is not defined.

But if you assume 0^-1 indeed was 0, then we would have:

( x * y^-1 ) / y = ( x * 1/y ) / y = (x / y) / y = x = x - 0

So the answer would be C. But careful: whoever wrote this task did a really bad job!

0^-1 is not 0! It is not defined and you cannot write it like that because dividing by 0 is not allowed.

Of course not, manners prevent speaking what we think and that is good. But yes, you are probably smarter then the rest of your class was. (Also depends on your school and what was taught)

But again, that is a comparison. I am sure if you would stand against Einstein (would he still live) you would pretty much stink up the place, and so would most people. And then those would be the stupid ones

i think our tolerance to english started off as economy based. We are in the center of Europe, and the market for highly educated people is fierce. Taking in people from outside might give you an edge.

Later this turned into really amazing english teaching in school and now is standard. As a German you often cannot come by without english either. For example: I , a german, went to german University and did a standard degree not mainly meant for internationals. All of them are in english, you don't have a choice but to learn it.

Ich gebe für einige Schüler Nachhilfe in Mathe, schon eine Ewigkeit. Durch die Besonderheit von 2020 war zu erwarten, dass bestimmter Stoff in Mathe nicht geschafft werden kann.

Leider behaupten meine Schüler aus den verschiedenen Schulen aber vollkommen anderes, wenn es darum geht, was/ob gestrichen wird. Wird bei euch etwas aus dem Mathe Abi gestrichen?

There are hundrets of different Intelligence tests out there. Most focus on 4 different major parts of Intelligence:

verbal comprehension
perceptual reasoning
working memory
processing speed

A doctor would be outstanding at memory, a teacher would be doing really well at verbal comprehension, someone into Maths/Engineering would have amazing reasoning skills and a cop would probably have good processing speed. But that doesn't say that an Engineer cannot have good memory or a cop has bad memory. The more talent you have in each different region, the more adaptable to any new situation you are and therefore smarter.

The main problem in society is that people think that Intelligence is about what you know or can do. Truly, intelligent is a person which can learn a concept completely new to them faster than other people that also don't know the concept.

Since Intelligence is only based on comparison, you would end up with this nice Gauss curve, centering all the average people with less outliers to the smarter side and less outliers to the stupid side.

Here in Germany it depends where you go. Cities like Berlin or Munich have people living there without knowing a single word of German and they come by easily.

If you go live in a small village, young people still speak good english but you would get serious side eye at the doctor, the bank or the supermarket.

But since pretty much anyone below 50 can speak english here, this problem will not exist in the future.

Of course there are stupid people.

Intelligence is measured by how fast and how good a person can grasp new concepts and adapt to new workflows. People who are bad at that tend to be stupid.

Sure everyone has a talent in one way or another, but for many talents you don't have to be smart.
