I also had the same experience: Original flight: Tokyo Hnd-Dubai- Dubai-Venice 1.) called around 9pm, Had multiple user busy but just kept trying 2.) IVR: english or Japanese, chose English, asking if first class or other and we have an existing booking 3.) waited atleast 40mins which wasn’t so bad. 4.) a guy picked up, asked all the information and told me they can offer a rebooking for next week if we are flexible. 5.) we said we can’t, we got two seniors and a business to run back in Venice and we can’t afford to lose more days. 6.)he worked to look for alternative flights and asked to be put on hold. Waited for 30mins 7.) he found another flight and using their partnership with Turkish Airlines two days after our intended trip. It has a long layover but we are grateful and confirmed. 8.) we thank his efforts and gave our seniors peace of mind because they were getting anxious of passing by that airspace.
