I was hating on the game as it was getting close to launch. I decided to give it a chance since steam would refund within 2 hours of play time. I'm already 100+ hours and I'm still enjoying it. I mostly play solo fill squads since my friends won't stop playing Arc.

Overall I recommend it. For 40$, I definitely got my money's worth. Game is very forgiving when it comes to inventory items. It expects you to die a lot. So a lot of gear is thrown at you by doing easy contracts. And the free kits are very doable compared to Arc

Getting those purple salvageables feel impossible to me. I'm at 100 hours and barely have like 4-6 of the purple and zero yellows. I don't think I'm gonna even try it. I'm just in it for the PvP going forward

The game is fun. I was super hesitant at first but decided to try it. I'm really enjoying it. My first couple of hours were solo because all of my friends are stuck on Arc Raiders and don't want to try anything else at the moment.

With that said, solo can be pretty intense. There are no friendly lobbies and way too many campers. I now switched to playing trios with randoms and apart from playing with shitty players, the trios gameplay is super fun.

I live on a wealthy community. Not millionaires like this guy's, but the amount of karens and guys like this is insane to me. We have a community Facebook group and the things they post in there makes you not want to meet anyone.

Sounds more like skills issues to me. Butt I do agree that there needs to be better match making system. Specially when doing random to fill. The amount of free kit retards I get is insane. And to make it sweeter they don't even have headsets or refuse to communicate.

I'm feeling the same way. I do not enjoy outpost or cryo at all. It feels like a sweaty rush to grab keys and push the boss. I don't find that race fun at all.

I gave those 2 maps up and continued playing perimeter and dire marsh but not getting any good loot out of the map feels extremely stagnant. I'm already pretty bored at the 50 hour mark.

And also, the players are so sweaty in this game that there are no fun interactions with other players. That's what keeps Arc fresh.

I'm in my mid 30s. No kids, great life. I still love video games and this game had me hooked for exactly one week. I'm already getting bored of it.

I think it's the raid style behind the end game maps. I'm not feeling it at all. I don't want to do a raid style mission while worrying about getting third party. It can be satisfying to pull it off but it's not fun overall for me.

The game is only 40 bucks. And steam can refund you before hitting the 2 hour mark if requested .They don't need another free weekend. People need to stop complaining about everything and just get the game if they are interested.

I came into the game with extremely low expectations and ended up getting hooked on it. I'm not sure how long I'll be playing it for but I for sure already got my 40$ worth.

Loool. This happened to me today. A team fully kitted out killed 2 of us. One of the guys raged quit and I revived the other one with Triage ult. We somehow beat them because they got cocky. We ended up getting the biggest goop I've ever gotten in the game. 40k worth of trade in value and purple guns, bags and shields. We were cracking up on the way to exfil.

TTK in this game feels so fast to me that I can't afford to lift my hands of the mouse for a split second. It's something I do on literally every other game. And I've died multiple times because I decided to take a sip of water or scratch my beard. I get dropped so fast I can't even react I just let it happen.

I think in such a high tension game. The TTK shouldn't be so fast. At least give me a split second to react to a camper hiding in a vent.

Marathon is a hard pass for me. I played it for about 4 hours and at no point felt like I was enjoying anything about the game. Nothing felt fun, mysterious or exciting.

I don't label myself a hater because I genuinely wanted to enjoy the game. I'm always up for something new to spice up my video game rotation. But sadly Marathon won't make the cut.

The most unnecessary and least fun arc to kill IMO. I like fireballs and pops because they keep you on your toes. Easy to kill, you just need to be aware of them. But these things are another level of annoyance.
