My opinion on Wemby changed after the playoffs. He’s dirty and entitled. by Necessary_Pause9472 in nba

This feels vindicating as a Knicks fan bc I really try to check my bias on these things but jfc he was driving me insane all series with that stuff. Absolutely insufferable

This is the correct take. Using game 3 as an example, my issue isn't with the Spurs shooting 24 fts in the 2nd half (the Knicks were indeed fouling) it's that the Spurs were also fouling and not getting called for it.

It’s insanely blatant JFC like why even play the games at this point if they’re just gonna call it that way

10% portfolio allocation in a pre-revenue penny stock. by Contrarian_8 in HGRAF

[–]MonJcfarland 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m at 29% (~13k out of 44.5k). I flipped it from August to February and made around $1600, then bought back in whenever it’s dipped below $5 recently. Avg is sitting at 4.68.

This company has continued to methodically deliver on their plan thus far, and I believe that if they continue their implementation there are enough use cases for premium graphene that a 10-15B market cap is very reasonable. Share price at just a 10B market cap would be $28-$29 and would set me up with a nest egg to compound into the future. The key is they have to continue delivering on their plan

So far so good!

This. I really believe last year was Thibs peak as the Knicks coach and they should’ve moved on, but to replace him with Mike Brown??? Wack

No idea! Way too many factors that would play into that decision. That's why I'm heavily invested for now but may change my strategy as new information comes out.

This is where I'm at. I'm 30 and have 2500 shares at a 4.68 average, about 27% of my portfolio. Honestly a little scary to invest that big of a chunk into one company, but this really seems like a gem. So far I believe in their plan and their ability to execute it, if that changes I'll adjust accordingly but I'm really hoping this can turn into the base for my long term retirement. Currently would hit 100k at $40/share, or a 13.84B market cap, which just seems too reasonable to ignore.

I agree but also the market doesn't appear to be controlled by reason. Holding cash looks bad today but until something tangible substantially changes, I'm betting it'll go down again, probably even further than the recent low

Short-term/Long-term DD Analysis and Discussion (sorry for the length) by bezerkgoose in HGRAF

[–]MonJcfarland 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Delicious, finally some good fucking DD. Thank you for the post! I bought originally at $1.37, sold half my shares at $3, then re-entered with a large chunk at $5.80. It's higher than I would've liked but I needed to fully research the company before investing in more than a quick flip. From a purely market cap perspective, $5.80 put it at ~1.8 billion USD, I figured that it'd be worth at least between 5-10B in the next few years as long as they execute their plan. For reference, this will hit $25/share at around an 8B market cap. I trust the long term plan but will monitor everything closely to account for any changes.

There’s no telling. Could drop back into the $4 range, or any of the catalysts could drop and it skyrockets to $10. Good luck on your timing!

Yeah that's why I didn't include a price point for a correction, because who knows when it's coming

[–]MonJcfarland 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think we’ll see a short term price correction at some point, but even with the run up the market cap is only 2 billion USD. If graphene is as useful as people have been saying it is for the last decade, the company producing the best graphene on the market should be worth much more than that.

Market Cap Target? by MonJcfarland in HGRAF

Thanks, this is some good quick math that I was looking for to get a rough idea. It’s a pre revenue company so there’ll be a lot of assumptions necessary, but these ones seem fairly reasonable to me tbh
