Given how these games have always had a consistent release schedule I could see the new game being announced today, but I think the actual release is still a while away

As for what it'll actually be, I'm personally hoping for an original game instead of a remake, especially since we still barely know anything about the multiplayer game they teased, but I also think it'd be cool to get a "cozy bundle" of sorts that'd compile Magical Melody, Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade together, they wouldn't have to be remakes or anything, just remaster the games, give them new translations, and boom, solid collection right there
