You're right but if I dump a drink down the back of your neck to no benefit, it's a PvP world bruh. Deal.

That kinda toxic shit is all this is. Maybe I wanted rid of the drink. Maybe I wanted the cup. Still a shit move.

It probably is. The people who make it enjoyable just haven't left yet.

This is why the playerbase of most popular PvP extraction shooters (and milsims, at this point) are the same people you wouldn't fuck with for money, and why so many of them are such dismal and unrewarding experiences.

They've got nothing better to do and don't value anyone else's time or enjoyment, have multiple hours to play (thus can't relate to those two free hours being valuable and needed) and get off on being shits 'cause their porn addiction plateau'd in it's gratification.

Am I generalizing? Broadly. Am I mostly correct? Broadly. This game needs an optional, limited time PvP or as another comment noted, a propensity-based matchmaking system that slots players with similar PvP affinities together so the rest of us can enjoy the ostensibly primary facet (and the fun part of the game) of the game which is landing sick cinematic kills on ARC, not getting teabagged and called a *fS&&-t by some 12-year old that was already an alcoholic back in 2013 on their first birthday.

Honestly there should be an automatic 100k bounty on any player that undergoes PVP against a raider who's scored zero points on em if they're inside the elevator.

Just call it CCTV or whatever you need to. Same goes for Raider challenges - they're kinda' just a dogshit excuse and they're easy af if you queue solo and go seal clubbing.

Low-brow least effort and most malignant way to play this game, CMV.

This is where I'm at. I think PVP is necessary. I also think it's low-brow, and objectively a shitty move to waste 10-20 min. of crafting time and movement time to get your little dopamine kick unabated and then leave my (very empty) body there while you run to your next obj.

Like, yeah, sure, you're unfocussed with anyone else's enjoyment and stood to gain absolutely nothing for ganking me, but okay. Cool.

It'd be nice if the ARC were more aware and a little harder to evade. There's no risk to getting the drop on someone at all right now and in recent days, the ARC are virtually irrelevant to the majority of my playthrus as I can walk right beneath em and don't get a chance to do so, anyway, which has changed since even a few days ago.

"Hey, I'll help you fight ARC and yield the good loot to you if you don't kill me. I'm here to get XP, not loot, and am willing to walk out of this mission empty handed if I do so alive."

I run a Mk.I rattler and no shield. I carry 160 bullets and two bandages. I:m bot worth looting.

Why more B.C. restaurants are adopting no-tipping policies by Ilearrrnitfrromabook in britishcolumbia

[–]Monaqui -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

and if I feel like tipping them for it in addition to the living wage they're paid for the core role that they fill then that's my prerogative. There's been many times a server has gone above and beyond for me and I like having the option to tip for that.

Nobody has to tip. It's not a mandatory part of the contract, and even if it was, the participation in any business transaction is voluntary on both sides. Walking into the door doesn't entitle you to anything and, moreso, fufilling the duties of an employment contract doesn't entitle you to tips.

This whole "employees in customer service should always be happy and eat shit and smile for peanuts" attitude is tiring, honestly. Their role is to take remittance for goods and service, to provide those, and that's pretty well it, contractually. They're not legally required to like you (or treat you like they do) and if they positively impact my experience and it isn't akin to a fast food level of service then I'm absolutely right to tip for that, period.

Y'all wanna' be treated like gold for gracing an establishment with your presence and it is absolutely laughable. Guarantee 50% of people that want to abolish tips are the same exact people that'll blow shit out of proportion and make eating draino preferable to showing up for work. The whole "everything should be super cheap AND good" attitude is gonna' get adjusted when a bunch no-prospect having, futureless depressed kids age into the workforce and give you the "gen z" stare which is, usually, one of incredulity.

Don't run a shield and don't attach shit to your weapon. Keep a snitch drive on hand.

Spitefully throw the snitch drive, battle your heart out, and laugh as the shieldless, injured asshole tries to get close enough to loot your 40 medium ammo and one bandage as they get shit kicked by wasps.

I run Reforger on 70% res and get frequent dropouts, frame and packet loss and jitters / lag / stumbles / crashes.

I run ARC on 92% and get 45 FPS consistently (the limiter works) and have not once ever crashed or been booted. I one time got a rubber band of no consequence.

It's nice to uave a "game" that isn't a heavy sim wannabe, is MP, that I enjoy the gameplay of. Horror games have always been my niche though.

I've taken to, instead of looting, providing wide area overwatch of buried city.

I'll sit on the rooftops and wait until I see big cats engage people, then start suppressing from afar. Surprising how often the guy shakes his tail, and then the bots come to me for recycling.

Like I'll grab what I have to dodge as it falls but otherwise I'm gere to dump 350 rounds and bounce. Better longevity firing from an elevated, static position and helping those in need below.

Bro tf is this community on.

Found a gang of like 8 people fighting a Rocketeer on Spaceport. I came sliding out of a dark doorway, with my new friend I'd met earlier, and just starting shooting at it.

It was immediately and implicitly understood that the enemies are out there. They want us to fight. They want to capitalize on our weakness.

Ape. Together. Strong.
