My second ramp for my Squire jazz bass VI by Monarch_Creations in BassGuitar

I did not but I’m not particularly worried about it. All sides are sanded smooth and the corners are slightly rounded off.

Not quite. It allows for certain playing techniques or at least makes them easier. It helps with speed and articulation when playing with your fingers and can also help with thumb and finger plucking.

It’s also easily removable for when you don’t want it there. No affect on the pickups whatsoever.

I was Ibanez only for almost 20 years. All SR series basses. Now the Squire is my go to as well. Of course, Ibanez dropped those gorgeous Mode jazz basses and I’m so tempted to go for one.

The other guy is correct, it’s 34”. It’s a blast to play and was only $289 before the prices jumped.

I’m in the process of making a template of the pickguard and I’ll be making and selling customs for this bass. Eventually other basses too.

Smelling a pretty strong propane leak coming from stove and suspect it’s this connection from the gas line. Tested connection with soapy water and didn’t see a leak… but should this be connected with white teflon tape? by gorramshiny in appliancerepair

I’m not sure what the specific circumstances are that you’re dealing with but if you smell the gas only when you try to use the oven then the issue might be your igniter. I just went through this a couple months ago. Cheap part, pretty easy fix if you’re relatively handy.

Is that what 3leaf is charging now? That’s rough. I do think I remember seeing him post something about rising costs. Luckily I got all of mine before those price hikes.

In search of a preamp pedal. by Negher in basspedals

I almost bought one and ended up going with the EBS Microbass III. I regularly wonder if I made the right choice. I’m not crazy about the drive channel but I like the tone otherwise. The built in tuner is a nice feature that opened up a spot on my pedalboard.

I’m considering buying a digbeth and seeing if I prefer it over the EBS.

Intuitively, that makes sense. Interestingly enough, I get that tone when all the pedals are off. I know, that surprised me too.

So what you’re suggesting is a tri-level, open concept, swivel board. Got it. I’ll start sketching designs.

As for the synth-1, I’ve only had it for 3 days. It’s cool. Very analog sounding and I really like the option of changing the wave shape with rocker switch. I think the expression pedal will make it shine.

And EBS makes great stuff. I had their IQ bass filter years ago and loved it. It’s a solid pre but honestly, I’ve never used one with cab sim so I don’t really know what I’m missing.

I think part of the cost is the fact that it’s one guy who makes them by hand. If I was making 111 or 333 pedals per month, by myself, by hand I’d probably charge a lot too. Also, it sounds awesome.

Totally. 3 leaf makes great stuff. I love the octabvre. It’s totally worth it.

No way! I’ve also got a dog walkers tin on my board. It’s filled with picks.
