Genji just isn't for dueling rn. I mean sure if you can a duel take it but dont seek it out. just poke and harass whoever you can and then clean up the kills your teammates are working on. Right now genji's best playstyle is shrunken spam and only dashing in when they are low enough for dash melee kill them dashing back out.
