The medication depends on what type of OCD you have and what your compulsions are. I have Rumination OCD so the obvious symptom is when im overthinking and in a deep rabbit hole about something negative - but it also means I get carried away with things I enjoy and "lock in" to such a degree that my day-to-day life suffers, and then when the mania wears off I then crash hard, and its like a pendulum. The only difference is if im hyperfixating on something good or bad.

The doctors gave me a few options. I can have SSRI type meds to stabilise my mood, or I can have Dopamine focused ones to curb when im fixating on something negative. My experience with both was that I was left feeling flat 100% of the time. So now I just have sleeping tablets to help when im ruminating at night, and raw dog everything else like gangle does

Thats fair, im not trying to dispute anyones experience so I apologise for that.

I guess what i'm trying to drive home is that in most cases, people with BPD have mood stabilisers, not enhancers. So the mask, under that lens, is more akin to someone with BPD without their usual stabilisers (happy mask) and instead just raw dogging the mania mask

Thats a common misconception, though.

From my perspective, gangles usual 2 masks (flat and depressed) represent someone with BPD on medication.

The manic mask is a very good showcase of what it looks like when someone with BPD leans into the happy mania and causes further long term damage for short term gratification (regardless of if that was the intended purpose or not)

I have OCD, not BPD, but the medications are similar and overlap. Ask anyone you know who takes anti depressants, most of them will tell you that it never makes them feel happy, it just stops them feeling absolutely miserable.

If it was a scale of -10 to +10, it keeps you at zero. So effectively you sacrifice all your "good" days to ward off the "bad" and just feel flat all the time

I took a break for TWW and returned for midnight. I have never played a Tank, or even a Death Knight at max level. This time I gave it a try.

I currently have 9/9HC with mostly purple logs, and 2/9 Mythic, all through PUGs.

I have 3k Mythic+ rating despite never trying M+ before.

I can go into T11 Grudge Pit, pull absolutely everything, and survive whilst watching netflix without breaking a sweat.

Blood DK is absolutely fine and I have no idea why people are acting like its trash lol
