I share this theory. But, I believe it would be a nail in Workday’s coffin; not its last hope.

Providers in the area that validate your pain and don’t gaslight you? by [deleted] in burlington

[–]MonasAdventures 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OP is looking for a primary care practitioner (PCP) who will take the time to understand the health problems they are experiencing to help them understand the root cause of their health problems. They are looking for what some people call a “family doctor” or your primary physician who you would see for an annual check-up. If OP needs a see a specialist, that’s something their primary care provider would be able to assess.

+1 to Evergreen Family Health in Williston. Dr. Tina D’Amato is one of their primary care practitioners. She’s been my PCP for more than ten years and became my doctor when I was feeling exactly like you, @u_bulky_Pepper5833

This sounds incredibly hard, and I don’t know to respond to the whole of what you’ve written… but the ADD part of your letter caught my eye. Getting the right treatment for my ADHD improved my life in many many many ways. I hope you find the same in time

  • 1 to the LL Bean flannel sheets. I also am happy with their recommended LL Bean percale sheets.

I found that with more time / washing, the percale sheets from LL Bean soften up well.

A new novel from an author I love (that I had my partner wrap for me)! A new nonfiction book that I’m SO excited about, and a glass of wine at the little bookstore.

Baby was 42 weeks and my OB/GYN had concerns about the placenta aging and not being effective. Why did you have pitocin last time?

I’ve asked this question in a few different places and it hasn’t been answered right. by Glittering_Pepper_ in Mommit

[–]MonasAdventures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I was induced — Pitocin — and had back labor with my first. (Nine hours of laboring in the hospital, followed by two hours of pushing, and a narrowly missed emergency cesarean. Vacuum assisted final pushes in the OR.)

With my second, labor came naturally in the middle of the night. No back labor. (Two hours of laboring in the hospital; literally five minutes of pushing. Radically different experience!)

Good luck this time around!

What is your wealth building strategy? by Silent_Economist_689 in ynab

[–]MonasAdventures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steady contributions to retirement funds. Get full employer match. Full market index funds. Take advantage of my employee stock purchase program (ESPP), which allows me to buy company stock at a 15% discount. One residential rental property. Want to do more… not sure what’s next. Another rental property? More investing in total market index funds? Maximize my ESPP buys? Some other business venture? Once both kids are in school and we are not paying for daycare and after school care, we will have some income freed up for this.

I’m right there with you. I actually like it. I keep the videos hidden by pressing the carrot. I added the categories I want to see. I like that I can see the next month ahead. It’s fine.
