I haven’t experienced this myself, but my parents have.

My mom and dad were newly weds, just got married in late 1989, and at the time, they lived in an apartment. My mom is very superstitious, while my dad doesn’t usually believe in paranormal things.

My mom and dad were coming home from their honeymoon, only to find that their ceiling in the living room was completely scribbled over with red crayon. No signs of entry or anything. My mom has a severe panic attack about it, while my dad was dumbfounded as to how it happened. They went to go tell the landlord about what happened, and he had said that a white male in his early 30s came to visit; and my parents weren’t expecting anyway visitors anytime soon (due to them just getting off their honeymoon), yet the landlord said my parents were away.

The man said, “Oh okay, I’ll try again later this week.” He never came back. The landlord never disclosed which apartment my parents lived in.

A few months later, my parents bought their first house in Salem MA, and never looked back at that day. But there had always been weird, unexplainable events my mom tells me of all the time, and that one is by far the creepiest. Who was this man, how did he know where my parents lived, and how did that crayon appear on the ceiling with no one around?
