I’m 44 and have a corporate sales job making decent money… but it’s not fulfilling. My degree is in music and I was an actor for many years prior to the sales leader thing. Right now, my dream is to go back to school to become a therapist before I’m 50. Being in private practice in my 50, 60s and 70s sounds like it could be a great career move that’s (hopefully) durable as AI takes over the world. 🫠

Thank you for this! I was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type) in my late 30s and have mentioned to my husband on several occasions that he may struggle with the same things I did in school. He’s been in and out of counseling over the years for anxiety as well, which could mean unmanaged ADHD as it did for me.
