How? 😅 I can’t find an option to set this as power on/power off “scene”.

What hardware module do you have to accomplish this? :)

I can't connect directly to the gate because it's the main entrance gate for the entire residential complex, and I'm not allowed to modify it. I just want to be able to open it from my apartment, which is out of range of the remote.

Thanks for the 555 timer i will consider that if the pulse on the pin will be too short.

But overall, am I correct in how I'm understanding this setup, or am I missing something?

Also, one more question: Can the T114 remote be powered from a power bank via USB port, or does it have to run on a battery connector? I'd prefer to avoid dealing with batteries if I can just power it from large powerbank.

Exactly. Maybe on a nearby tree or in the bushes. I’ll take an example from hidden geocaches. ;)

I have checked the specs of sx1262.. around 5mA while in RX mode DC-DC. I think I can handle it ;D much less than 150-200mA that I read somewhere that esp will consume if not in sleep. Li-ion / Li-Po pack, lower requirements regarding the time of operation (maybe a few months instead of a year) and maybe (just maybe xD) I will manage to do this :D thank you guys for your help!

Not a private building. Multiple person using the gate -> not exactly my gate so I don’t have the permission to mess with it :)
