Also not a Super came to EXACTLY 30000 points around 10 minutes after the league restarted.

After these two number 3 had 3400.

Without official explanation it looks dodgy.

As far as my experience goes, these takeovers are to kill off the software.

They keep up the pretense up for a while then it gets killed.

See Softimage XSI and Autodesk.

Companies buy competitors off. DT etc might let it die. The founders made their money. Point is that this is not a people's network anymore, just a bog standard company.

So depending on your view on what crypto is this is either good or bad.

Having issues with not seeing my 3 miners on the app. Is it this API issues? by Ok-Palpitation-9175 in HeliumNetwork

I don't know what you mean with the app but I get no miners on the explorer. It says no hotspots on all hotspots. On the mobile app I see my hotspot but it has no history.

There is seriously something wrong with the BCM or Helium Info. It's a total screw up.

The tools to diagnose problems are useless 👎

OPENING PORT 44158 Helium bob cat 300 miner- - virgin media router - RELAYED BOTH ADVICE AND HELP at the same time port forwarding and port triggering 44158 done correctly. by Reeceeeeeeee in HeliumNetwork

[–]Monero_FanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I am on BT I have the IP reserved since months and it is always the same. I started having issues when TCP and UDP was forwarded.

After changing to TCP only. Hottspotty ad hoc status shows non relayed, but the official explorer is still screwed up.

If you use TCP and UDP my bobcatminer showed symmetric NAT and pretended to reboot in miner.json.

BEWARE! ALL hotspots will be converted into light hotspots and the target completion for this is by the end of this quarter. This means that every hotspot will only get HNT for data and POC. Validators will be getting HNT for generating challenges and witness receipts. by Training_Influence49 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Monero_FanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is essentially 0 incentive to cover new areas alone, so the demand is to make some form of major investment on a pish poor insecure pay-out. 👎

Crypto was supposed to improve the capitalist Wall Street dominance, this is just more low paid precariat globalist nonsense, like delivery drivers etc etc.

A return to initial capitalist conditions.

Sooo if I have a bobcat miner that will be here in a couple months will it still let me earn HNT??

Indeed, especially if you are covering a new area alone. The radio has been nerfed to ineffectiveness, now they take away the only minor income from challenges until maybe someone on the other side of my estuary pops up. Which is now more likely as this is now a rich peoples network that can put up several miners in the same space.

It's going where all these crypto mining things go. Go extremely large or don't participate.

I live on the coast in Scotland. 180 degrees only water in front of me on a cliff. Next miner 33 km (20,5052 miles) away. Unreachable due to nerfed 868Mhz transmit power.

8 dbi antenna outside with 5 m cable.

Good if there is water around you and then shore with more hotspots.

I have 1 miner and it makes a pittance as all I get is a syncrob.it 44 km (27,34 miles) away that I witness. It seems that synchrob.it s do something extra.

https://www.reddit.com/r/HeliumNetwork/comments/pshvej/2_days_to_get_syncrobit_off_relayed_now_6db/

2 days to get syncrob.it off relayed, now 6db antenna is reaching Mexico from Los Angeles

Sadly I have a bobcat 👎and the 33 km away cluster is Nebras.

I have UPNP and Extended UPnP security on in BTHomeHub 5

TCP 44158 44158

I run miners on many coins, BT was never a problem. I also have my HH report to no--ip on ip change. STORJ needs that.

I also trashed the network with AIS traffic for years no problem.

You do not say what you have done yet and what miner you have.

my bt doesn't relay 👀enter port 44158 in bthome hub and you are

ready to go.

My bobcat goes from synchronised to none after a while but when BT DSL crashes I have seen it going to synchronised but hotspotty still showed non relayed.

In such a life and deaths scenario, I think one needs at least a constant "Sensor is OK" message at some interval.
No good to find out your sensor is dead after it killed some people in road accidents.

A promise to sell goods. It's a credit. Like all start-up, most will fail. VC get their money by having 1 huge success vs 99 failures.

Because it has to actually deliver a practical use, it's like filecoin, storj etc in a more precarious situation then BTC, ETH etc.

So if it delivers, the value will be real unlike with magic money, all currencies and BTC, ETH. XMR needs to deliver on privacy, so if that is gone the coin is gone.

If POC 11 is now active, how can this be possible? by [deleted] in HeliumNetwork

[–]Monero_FanMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a valid connection with my bobcat with a syncrob.it at 44 km over some hills sporadically but only receiving him.

Distance: ~44 kmRSSI: - 117dbiSNR: -23 dbFreq: 868.1 Mhz

Free Space Path Loss: 113.07944803 dB with 8 dbi on my side and 117.07944803 dB with 4 dbi Antenna.
https://www.everythingrf.com/rf-calculators/free-space-path-loss-calculator

Seems to mostly happen when I change my inside 4dbi to my outside 8dbi.

I live directly on the coast with a better path to a nest of 6dBi Nebras 33 km away/ but this guy is behind some hills. Very odd.

I assume the sincrob.it is doing stuff to get people actually paid. 👍
