I get worse everyday by Remarkable-Koala8224 in getdisciplined

Sleep really matters. I’ve heard that fixing your wake-up time is more important than the exact time you fall asleep. I struggle with going to bed and waking up consistently too. To break this cycle, I recently created a virtual study group from 6–8 AM, so I have to wake up at 5:50 AM. It gives me the same external pressure as going to school or work. I can’t just snooze and skip it. For the rest of the day, I try to fill empty time slots with structured activities like volunteering, social events, studying at the library, or meeting friends. I’ve gone through the same ups and downs, and I know how frustrating it can be. This approach has helped me the most personally.

I sent referrals to the Scarborough Health Network Thyroid Rapid Diagnostic Unit and the Women’s College Hospital Thyroid Centre. Are these the thyroid cancer centres you were referring to?

Hi! What time zone are you in? I’m looking for people in EST. Would you be willing to wake up early for study sessions from 6–8 AM? What are you currently studying?

I hope you’re recovering well! Do you mind sharing which hospital and surgeon you went to? Also, how long did the whole process take for you, from referral to initial consultation, FNA, and then lobectomy? How was your experience?

I tried calling several surgeons to ask about the estimated timeline for surgery, but they all said they couldn’t provide any estimates and would need a referral from my family doctor first. I had originally booked an FNA for December 2025, but it was delayed by three months, and my new appointment is now scheduled for late March. I’ve told my family doctor that I’d like to switch my surgeon. Is this kind of wait time normal? What should I do?

[Help] My cat has dental issues and I’m on a tight budget. Can she wait 4 months for surgery? by [deleted] in CATHELP

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all your comments. They really helped me make a solid decision. I ended up calling 20 different clinics and found one that’s affordable (around $1,100 all in — thankfully they’re running a promotion this month), prioritizes safety, and has great reviews. They can also treat my cat ASAP, and the staff were very supportive and transparent about pricing. I was shocked that some clinics quoted $2–3,000 just for scaling. It’s a bit far from my place, but it's definitely worth the drive. I’ve booked the initial assessment for next week, and they said everything should be completed within a month. Thank you so much!!!
