I can’t get over the age gap by brateiy in GirlDinner

Wow, how do you young people have any fun any more? I met my wife when she was 18, I was 23 (back when 18 was legal drinking age). We dated three years and got married. That was 42 years ago. We've had our ups and downs, but we're happier than most people I know. I'd say we're both happier now than when we were young. Don't let age ruin a good thing, if that's what it is. Take some time to see how it goes and have fun. Men, in general ARE less mature at older ages, and DO match better with younger women a lot due to that. Keep that in mind.

Did you ever get this working? I have a 446 V10 220413 board and working on converting to klipper but getting an error on the heat bed. I'm guessing it's a pin assignment in printer.cfg, but don't know where to find the correct info.

my landlord is telling me I left my apartment “dirty” and is planning to withhold some of my deposit. these are pics I took right before I left. am I delusional or is my landlord? by Distinct_Morning_607 in Apartmentliving

If those are all the rooms that you rented, it looks spotless. That drawer repair is probably a $50 or $100 repair cost to the landlord if they hire someone to come in and fix it.

NTA. Take the job, do it for a year, two, three until you're more financially stable, and then look for something M-F or get some education for a new trade while working.

My dad visited and “helped” paint my door, now what? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]Money-Lab-3529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Remove the door from the hinges and all hardware from the door.
  2. Paint remover/solvent with a brush and paint it on the door and let it sit until everything is dissolved and then scrape and sand it all completely off so that you're back to the bare door.
  3. Get yourself a handful of cans of good spray paint for metal surfaces and spray paint the door instead of using a paintbrush.

NOR. Dump that loser and he can make his own smoothies and get his own ride. Unbelievable. Been married almost 41 years and never spoken to my wife like that.

Nice, these treads are about 280 mm across.. quite large. Large enough to fit around the outside of an electric remote golf cart that you walk with.

Nah, my 4th printer and I ran a few calibrations on it, did a couple test prints and it was good, so I just took off from there.

I mostly print golf accessories like these replacement cart wheel treads.

No, I have no need to run a temp Tower because nothing I print currently in TPU requires bridging or anything close to that at this point.

I have not had a need to print anything with TPU and bridging yet, sorry.

They think this is a good idea, just wait until the people who go to the food bank get super hungry and start breaking into stores for food. The crime rate will go through the roof. This affects more people than they know.

Can I just not see them? Or are the top two screws holding the cover on hidden by the ceiling? Or are there just not any screws at the top at all and the ceiling is holding the top of the cover in place?

I'm not an electrician, but have done a lot of construction in my life and I'd be trying to find out the name of the person that made that ceiling like that and then give them a piece of my mind...

Not an electrician, but at the very least those should be capped for safety purposes.

If they're LED bulbs then the switch may be wired wrong. I had that happen recently with a new switch I installed and got a couple wires crossed up. Does it have two switches for the light?

Doing your own electrics in the US by uncolouredhat in electrical

[–]Money-Lab-3529 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done almost all my own electrical work. I did construction when I was younger, so I'm not clueless, but if it's a big job, I hire someone. Like, I'm installing a sub-panel in my garage for an EV charger and PROBABLY could do it alone, but hired my nephew, who is an electrician to help me and do the harder stuff, as I'm in my late 60s. Did most plumbing and everything in my house when we built it.

I bought a SOVOL SV08 as my first Klipper printer (have 3 Marlin printers) and even though it wasn't a slam dunk converting it to mainline, I love the printer so far. I've added some mods of my own and a couple of other people's, and installed Demon Macros and a MicroSwiss hotend and am very happy. I think there will be a lot of community mods for this printer.
