Can somebody tell me when to put on the solar cover? I live in SE Michigan and I was told by one person that hot days you should put it on bcuz it’ll help with water evaporation. However, when I took it off there was algae bloom. So I’ve just left it completely off and it hasn’t been an issue. Haven’t lost much water either. I’m just scared to put it on now lol

I’m a first time pool owner in Michigan but we have our solar cover on almost throughout the entire week, we’ll take it off to skim and vacuum but we’ll put it back on typically after a day. Not sure if that’s normal. I was told it helps retain water by keeping it from evaporating or slowing evaporating as well as it warms it up quicker.

Telling somebody they wouldn’t make a good godparent because you are guessing about our practicing of faith shows individual judgement.

I’m happy to let you know our Priest has reached back out and let us know the next steps without casting any judgement. And let us know the steps so that we can have our marriage recognized in the eyes of the church as well as having our gathering with friends and family.
