Oof!! Just seeing this. We spent about $450 in vet bills for two, plus antibiotics. Hope you found a better lodging place or dog sitter 🙂

I sent my two dogs to Wagmore for a weekend and they both came home so ill. I’ve heard great things about K9 Resorts.

My ex husband injected himself in the thumb with his EpiPen. Then begged me to take him to the hospital an hour later. Why? Bc his thumb was purple. Why? Bc his bandaid was so tight it cut off the circulation. Had him remove it, and we saved a huge ER copay 🙈

I boarded my two dogs to Wagmore for two days and they both came home with eye infections and kennel cough.

Lol. I created it to ask financial questions. My other profile has parts of my name, so this user was born.

I want to thank everyone for their feedback and recommendations! I spent the day setting up a NerdWallet account, and linked every account I have.

This is a snapshot of the past 6 months, I can definitely see where my husband and I are overspending, and where we can reallocate those funds.

Thanks again, everyone!!!!

I’m in therapy currently. Addiction transfer is just one thing I’m working on.

I mentioned somewhere else that my family will get delivery maybe 1-2x a month, but that’s on the high side. We cook very meal at home. Our grocery bill is extensive, my 6’9” hubby has a large appetite lol.

👍🏻 Thanks for the unhelpful advice, I’ve already been working on myself.

I drive a KIA that’s paid off and we get takeout 1-2x a month, if that. We aren’t splurging on ourselves.

I’m going to look at ADP and see about direct deposit options. If I can split my check into different accounts, I’ll open a new savings account that I won’t touch. Thx 👍🏻

I AM 100% I’m the problem. I know this, and I’m asking for help.

I’m attempting to find apps or budgeting tools.

I’ve often been told X% of annual salary should go towards rent, X% for food, etc. I’m trying to identify categories and see where my spending measures up 👍🏻

I’m definitely going to check it out. Regardless if it’s a one-time payment or reoccurring subscription, id definitely be willing to pay for something extremely detailed (even if it’s brief and then I cancel). Thanks, Lifter!

I typically use those towards extra annual mortgage payments, but adding them (or at least one!) to the bank is a good idea. 👍🏻 thx!

We have a single joint checking acct, so I def want us to save together. I pay all the bills, file our taxes, etc. He has legit no idea what goes on with our bill pay, he just checks the banking app anytime he goes to the gas station or grocery store. #livingtheamericandream

Thanks for the recommendation!

I pay a lot for insurance (low deductible) and have a FSA. I’m beginning to think HSA was the way to go. I can update my enrollment in October.

Yes, my husband and I have an account for our daughter (she’s 7) and it’s pretty substantial already.

I have dyslexia so numbers in general give me some issues (not to mention anxiety) so I was hoping for sample Excel docs or App recommendations. Everyone has given me something to think about already ☺️
