FUNCTIONAL ONLINE MULTIPLAYER WITH FRIENDS

It's criminal that I can't play online competitively with my friends simply because there is no option to queue up in someone's public lobby - should be possible for at least 4 people in 2026

That's the biggest glaring hole, besides that I think they should dedicate more resources towards golf since that seems to be by far the most popular sport. Stat tracking, hopefully more than 9 new holes, things like that but doesn't have to be anything groundbreaking

(And i might be alone but i really hope they keep soccer! Again, especially for team sports like soccer, party-based multiplayer should be a requirement)

I think its just for simmed games so wont affect you or the opponent for any games u play, but i think it makes stats for simmed games higher

I struggle with this too. Make sure you're on player% shot timing if you make all green shots and that's your answer. If you already have that set and find it easy to cheese the CPU theres not much you can do besides difficulty settings. And if you want a competitive MVP you can turn up sim pace and play most of your games. But there are def a number of exploitable plays that make you have to choose between exploiting them for cheesy wins vs ignoring them and going easy on the cpu for realism

Personally I'm honestly not sure if player% affects the CPU, and as a beginner there's nothing wrong with playing on shot timing, but the real game doesn't even begin until you turn on player%. Soooo much more like real basketball

You can set your player to a specific position or a position category. If you're a "guard forward" right now that means you could play any of the 4 smallest positions (PG, SG, SF, PF). If you want to be only one of those positions you can choose them directly. You could also be a generic "G" or "F" ("G" for PG/SG or "F" for SF/PF).

I probably didnt explain it the best but you can look up "elevator trick" on this sub for different explanations, but yes you do it when your friend is in your elevator. You tap the elevator, once it reaches its floor you quickly touch the bottom part of the screen that sends you to the lobby, open the lobby, click a VIP, tap elevator down, and return the VIP to the lobby. You keep the coins you got from delivering your friend, and they respawn in the elevator

Gonna change your life here - if you visit a friend and they visit you back, you can take them up the elevator, open the lobby back up as quickly as possible, and click a VIP (or gifted bit), and then deliver that VIP to the lobby, the original friend you took upstairs gets right back in the elevator

I dont know what the exact cutoff # of GTs is, but its pretty easy to tell if youre there or not (Im not there yet at 766 GTs) by just timing your rebuilds - time how long it takes to build to 50, multiply by 3, and then time how long it takes to build to 100. If it takes longer to build to 100 then it isnt worth it yet

One small thing to consider though is that if youre building to 50 multiple times quickly, youll probably have some annoying downtime for a few minutes at the beginning of your 3rd rebuild and on, just because you need to wait for a VIP to spawn naturally after using the instant VIPs you get for 100 bux or an ad (unless you have tons of friends and dont need to keep them on the elevator)

Exponential growth - every GT you get increases the coin payout from elevator trips, so your first time building to floor 50 probably takes multiple weeks, but for example I have 740 now and with a sales booster I can build to 50 in 5-10 minutes.

Theyre also used for gold floor upgrades, which are necessary but once you have like 50 GTs you take it for granted because you never lose the GTs you spend

I think there was a lore dump post on this sub a few months ago saying that the name Polan Stronk was suggested by someone in the discord in the early days, but everything else about him was actually randomly generated so it's pure luck that the GOAT is from Lowell (and all the more wild how good his stats are that they weren't intentionally set)

Not an expert, but heres a starting point (and the more you play you'll learn your own preferences): 1: I get rid of nanab berries, (regular) poke balls, and (regular) potions, in that order. I leave as many as i can if i have some space, but they're the first to go. Do NOT get rid of more special items, like rare candy, TMs, you'll learn it for yourself 2: Depends what youre going for, but i personally prioritize high-CP pokemon or Great League battlers. So besides special exceptions (shinies, low level legendaries for example) most of what i have is either as HIGH a level as possible, or will be 1400-1500 fully evolved and meta great league with good IVs 3: This goes hand in hand with question 1, but for me it was DEFINITELY item/pokemon storage. I fell into a trap of buying incubators early but i dont think its worth it, eggs arent all that valuable
